These have worked well outdoors in Texas weather!
I have a cedar house, which my outdoor cats enjoy scratching. I need to preserve my house/save the wood, so bought two of these and placed them where the cats scratch the most. They have worked really well! There are still other areas where the cats scratch at times, and obviously I can’t place these around the entire house, but they are mainly scratching at these posts as I hoped. Do place the catnip and demonstrate for your cat by scratching the post yourself and also running the cat’s paw on the post, as instructed. My cats didn’t enjoy me forcing them to reenact, but caught on quickly. These are currently out-of-stock. I need one more, and hope they come back soon!

I like it but my cats don't
I like the way it looks and it was easy to mount. I put it where my cats were scratching the wall. They stopped scratching the wall but pay no attention to the new scratching post.

Quality product, but my cat wasn't interested
I mounted this as per the instructions and showed it to my cat several times, to no avail. She just wasn't interested (despite being interested in open studs on the wall!). She's allergic to catnip so I wasn't able to provide the full incentive. Event though she didn't like it, it is well made and I think for cats who like to scratch vertically it's a good option/value for the price. I also think it would have lasted a long time unlike the cardboard variety.

Love it! My kitty goes crazy for it!
I bought this to go with my bigger cat tree (also an Activecat grooved woodone). My cat definitely prefers the larger one - she naps on it, sneaks up on the toys, etc - but I needed one for my home office and this one is working out great. She scratches it on her way in and out and loves the feather toy. Never seen her use a scratcher as much!❤

Looks nice. Smaller than pictured. Cat doesn't care for it.
The product looks very nice. I thought it was going to be a bit bigger, but that's ok. I'm just a bit disappointed because even though we rubbed cat nip all over it, our cat doesn't care for it at all.

Saved my sofa
I don't write many reviews but thought this seemed worth it. Wasn't sure about it at first but after a day my cat went nuts for it and finally stopped scratching my couch. The catnip included definitely helped.

Great furniture saver
My cat didn't take to it at first. I read the instructions, sprinkled some of the catnip, and scratched at the wood myself, then eureka! Cat loves it! Glad I didn't send it back.

Get this if your cat is damaging your door frames or furniture!!
This little plank of wood is saving my door frames from being scratched up by my cat. I wished I had gotten it sooner.
