Works Well
I bought this ball valve to use inline in some tubing going from my canister filter to a chiller on my 20 long axolotl tank. It works great. It allows me to cut off the chiller when I want to...for whatever reasons I may want to...and it doesn't leak or let any water through. It fits the tubing perfectly and seems well made. If you need a cutoff valve for your line, this is a great choice.

If you have Dyslexia like me, please read.
This product is great. I own about ten. I have never used clamps and have never leaked. They grip .5 inchinch inner dismater rubber hose so well that once it is on you have to cut them off. Problems I want to have. However, first time buying, I thought I was buying "Two" for the price of one because of the company name. Laugh. Its sad to be me every day. :). But to be clear you are getting "one" valve from a company called "Two little fishes" not "two" from a comapny called "little fishes". I am wrighting this because as dumb as I am, I hope and pray there is at least one person who is dumber.

Great product! Just a few more things you will need.
Really great product and easy assembly with clear instructions. There are a few things that you will need though in order to make it run 1) Some sort of powerhead air pump depending on the size of your tank 2) a flow valve regulator to adjust the intake of water for getting the flow rate just right 3) 1/2 inch plastic tubing. Which I got from Lowe's for like .19 cents a foot. You may have to heat the tubing up with hot water in order to make it go on certain parts 4) your desired filter media. I did rox carbon and it cleared up my cloudy water that night I hope this helps in case you are confused on what else you need to buy.

Two Little Fishes Ball Valve.
Got one to reduce the filter pump output on a Fluval Spec for a Betta. Seems to work good. But woah, this sucker was big. I knew it would be for a 1/2" tube, but I didn't expect the valve to be that big. Nothing wrong with that, tho. Valve is nice and tight. This might be a problem to adjust in tight areas, but if it isn't in a tight area, it's good to make sure the valve stays at the position you place it. It's kind of funny, this one is under the "Two Little Fishes" brand, but it looks exactly the same as a generic version of this valve, under regular hardware and not aquarium use. The graphic and logo on it are the same. So if you can find this valve under a different brand cheaper, go for it. This one probably isn't even made by Two Little Fishes, just packaged by them. There's someone else selling this same valve on Amazon for twice the price, plus shipping. So this one is the better deal, if you have Prime or are buying at least $35 worth of merchandise.

Does the Job; great for the Price
I use them to cut off the visibility spout of my Waverunner. The fishies do this job perfectly. Unfortunately they break, if you try to turn the knob in the wrong direction. I gave 5 stars nevertheless because of the low price. If you use the product very carefully, the valve works well and easy. Personally, I would prefer a better quality for a higher price, but it is still the best product for my purpose that I could find. I do not want to use anything that corrodes in the ocean water.

Works great
I use this on a Finnex Mini Canister Filter inflow pipe, and this thing works really well. I can adjust it to the smallest flow level, or completely off. An absolute must for maintenance or feeding baby brine shrimp etc. All LFS should carry this product.

Good Valve, but be aware!
The valve seems to be of good quality, but, contrary to normal conventions where tubing sizes are specified on the basis of outside diameter, this valve is intended to fit on tubing with 1/2" inside diameter. Normally, this valve would be specified as a 5/8" valve. I was able to force my 1/2" standard wall thickness tygon tubing onto the valve, but it was a challenge.

Perfect fit on overflow hoses for fresh water tank on camper
These worked perfectly on the overflow hoses for the fresh water tank on our camper. I kept having issues with so much water coming out when the tank was full and sloshing everywhere. Now I can just close the valve once the tank is full and then open them once we are all setup at our campsite. I can also use it to make sure nothing gets into the tanks when in storage for the season.
