Fits and has drain
Goes in ,on Atwood propane line runs near plug. No leaks... Yet. Will update. You need a 7/8 wrench and Teflon tape.

Easy to install, provides corrosion protection.
This unit installed easily and caused no operational problems. I look forward to extending the life of my hot water heater.

Useful.
Purchased to drain hot water heater easier than using a 27MM socket to keep draining it, and to prevent threads from being damaged. Have to purchase adapter in order to connect it to the hot water heater. Item too small, and falls into hot water heater.

Great way to empty your tank.
My old one make making my water smell. Got this one and after washing my hot water tank with vinegar got rid of the smell. I like that I can turn the drain and empty my tank without pulling the rod.

The right one for the right maker
Saw a you tube on keeping tanks and heater clean. Never thought of using anode for this aluminum water heater tank. Last camp we were at had pretty hard water, so makes sense. Also this was % cheaper than same at RV dealership store.

Put it in as a precaution installed. Easy. All the reviews said that it's supposed to help the water heater last little longer. Anything to help?

Easy to install
I was expecting a bit of trouble installing anode rod because of where our existing hot water tank drain was located. The rod fit in and around the existing hot water tank components perfectly. Designed like it was supposed to fit.

Arrive in good condition. Review to be updated after use
I received it in a good condition. Installing to the 6 gallon Atwood water heater took fifteen minutes. Most of the installation time was spent on the slow threading due to the awkward position of the draining outlet. The Atwood water heater tank is lined with aluminum coating. The water is softened before entering the water inlet. So, I anticipate minimal corosion on this anode rode. I rate it three stars for what I received. When I remove it for a check-up next year I'll update the condition and ratings accordingly.

Exact fit
it was difficult to locate, but it was an exact fit, it took the advice of another reviewer and used Teflon tape to assist in sealing it and the centre drain was given a bit of a snugging-up.
