Quality product
Very nice but i agree with a reviewer named Mccandlish who stated “ it would have made much more sense to just align this mesh on a die with 8mm pins to stand in for the screws, having those go through the mesh's existing holes, then cut this to size around that; instead of cutting it first, randomly, then drilling it to fit where the holes should be, without regard to where the mesh holes already are”. I am happy and completely satisfied with it and the black paint finish is beautiful.

Great Quality Clean Paint No Scratches
I used this mesh for a custom xbox one S console. I had to slightly modify the guard to fit cut easy with a dremel. High quality great finish and a very sturdy product. I initially thought it was going to be a thinner guage steel but this is actually quite heavy duty my tin snips struggled to cut so went with a dremel. I would recommend purchasing this item if it fits your needs!

Great for some uses, like custom-cut case holes, but maybe not the prettiest fan "face" you can find
I'm not sure this will look good as a fan shield/facing, on top fans you are looking directly at in your showcase PC, if you can see this entire screen, since the edges are rough. This is probably best used as an outward-facing but inside-mounted grill for a fan hole you have cut yourself (either round, or square but smaller than this screen). It actually looks really good done that way. See my pics for an example use, in a power-supply shroud to cover a hole I cut with a circle cutter, so my bottom-of-case intake fan can actually get air into the main case area. I made the hole to fit the "bulge" of this fan cover. This is metal, not plastic, and sturdy enough for its purpose. It is bendable if you need to bend a corner of it or something. It is thin enough that it is not likely to interfere with screws being able to reach they depth they need, nor with silicone anti-vibration screw replacements (that's what I used to attach this to my shroud). The holes are large enough and the material in the grill area thin enough that it should not have much effect on air flow. The one criticism I would have is that this was die-drilled with holes for fan screws, but the holes in the mesh were already bigger than that. The drilling basically made a bit of a messy, weak corner in some cases. I think it'll be okay, but it would have made much more sense to just align this mesh on a die with 8mm pins to stand in for the screws, having those go through the mesh's existing holes, then cut this to size around that; instead of cutting it first, randomly, then drilling it to fit where the holes should be, without regard to where the existing holes already are.Would be nice to see a variant of this with more and smaller holes, but less metal between them, so it is more of a dust screen (or least a hair and lint screen; I'm finding that stuff with super-fine mesh that's actually good for dust also kills the airflow). The one for sale here is a fingers and cables screen.

Used behind car front kick panels to cover speakers.
Used both metal mesh pieces to epoxy behind 4" holes that I cut in my front kick panels. This protected the 5 1/4" speakers that I recessed into the steel behind the kick panels. I couldn't use an external speaker grille because the parking brake pedal would hit anything sticking out. I was able to bulge the grilles out slightly with the palm of my hand so it wouldn't sit against the speaker cones and vibrate. They blend in great and protect the speakers from a foot kicking them.

Robust thickness
Easy to cut and shape.Would be nice if painted on both sides.

Solid Product, but READ THIS FIRST!
For the price point and what you get, you get a solid product. Most companies would charge $30-$40 per grill for something like this. The metal os high quality and the black finish is excellent. It does however have it's flaws. These are usually sandwiched between fans so the manufacturer doesn't really care about the cut of the metal. So due to how it's cut you most likely will not get a fully intact corner to put a screw into which is crucial if you plan to use it as a normal grill on single fans. Out of the first set of 4 I received, only one grill was usable. Luckily thet were nice about it and sent me out another set that they handpicked with all 4 corners intact.Another problem I ran into is that there is a humming noise once the grill is installed. This is normal for fan grills like this, but it was made way worse because of the complications of not being able to properly screw them down due to the corner problems. So just take note, if you install these, they WILL increase the noise levels on your fans.

Looks nice
Didn’t use for intended use but worked and looks great for what I used it for.

Wish they put a piece of cardboard in the plastic bag
It's the greatest 140mm fan guard ever. Very thin wire mesh with large holes that won't restrict air flow very much. (I hope). It has a concave 140mm circle pressed into it. It is only a 2-4mm bulge so it shouldn't add much depth to your fan. Best to mount it between your fan and the case hole. So the concave circle is in the 140mm fan hole and the jagged 4 corners are under your fan. Mine came in pretty bent up but I got it back into shape. Wish they made a 120mm version of this grill. Decent enough grill for your rig, I recommend it.
