East Cape Te Araroa Manuka Oil and Tea Tree Oil Soap

ok but very pricey

I have been trying different variations of Manuka products for my HS, This soap has a strong scent, but not mediciny. It makes my skin feel smooth all over. Since using it I have noticed an improvement in my HS scars. I did not give it 5 stars because I am still using it. I don't use it everyday. I use it in combination with different brands of perfume free soaps and cleansers. One bar is lasting longer than I thought. I will definitely reorder when I run out.

I have been using this now for over two weeks. My feet no longer stink. My shoes don't stink. My socks don't stink. And... the nail fungus on my left little toe is gone. I had been applying Ciclopirox prescription medicine on the toe for over two years without clearing it up.December 2014 update: I've just received my third bar of this soap and am still sold on it. I no longer have any problems with foot odor in my shoes and socks. I had been battling fungus on one toenail for the past few years. Now, after three months using the soap on my feet, the nail looks healthy and natural. I don't know if the fungus is totally gone but there is no visual sign of it. I'm going to continue using this Manuka soap.

Im sorry, but Ive been wanting to leave a review for this soap for a while now. The problem with this soap is that it is overly drying and will literally make your skin peel. Do not use this soap on your genitals--trust me, your skin will start to crack and peel. There is another manuka soap--manuka propolis something--which is good.In addition, this soap smells like vomit from time to time, and it is awfully strange. I remember getting into my shower one day and I literally smelled vomit, but there was nothhing in the shower that I could to indicate what the smell could be. Couple days later,I am in the shower using the soap, and i realize it is the soap.. I used this soap alot when I went out and I probably smelled like vomit. I quickly finsished the two bars i bought and never bought it again.Really bad manuka soap.

I bought this for my mom who also uses Manuka oil and cream, and honey to help cure her leg wounds, which so far has been a challenging task. She tried other medicine but found this one natural and generally doing a good job. Together they are stopping the progression of her problem and she has seen some improvement over a period of time.

I have bought this soap at least 3 or 4 times for my husband and I. We don't use it quite everyday but it has helped to clear up some skin issues. I like the smell. It is not overpowering. Will continue to buy.

Have to agree with another reviewer: This soap smells alternately good and bad. There were times when the entire bathroom smelled incredibly bad because of this soap. Other times it was OK. Very strange. Could some of the ingredients have spoiled. As far as the soap itself, it was a reasonably good soap, nice lather. Too bad about the awful odor.

I think this is a good product, but I don't have real evidence of how it's working. I'm using it on wounds, and I've just started, so I don't know yet, but I'll post again if I get results.
