I could not possibly be more pleased with this purchase. I bought the Shadowhawk flashlight to use while hiking to a somewhat remote destination in the Grand Canyon before sunrise. That is bear territory and I wanted to be sure I saw them and any other critters along the trail. Fortunately, I did not come across any animals, but I have to tell you that they probably would’ve been blinded by the light and run the other way. This flashlight puts out some super bright light and you can see a wide area for a long way in the dark. I use it around the house when I drop small items and I find them immediately because it puts out so much light. My husband tried it and was wowed. It is a good size and a good weight. I find the traditional round large flashlights to be very bulky and inconvenient to hold while trying to get work done. The Shadowhawk is smaller, easier to hold, built to last and packs a punch. The built-in lanyard loop is a definite perk. It was worth every penny! The only concern I have had - and it is not with the actual flashlight – is that the adapter gets hot while charging. I read that in another review. I have had the same issue with a different adapter that I use to charge my cell phone, so I’m not exactly sure what the answer to that is. I wasn’t about to return this excellent flashlight over that, so to be on the safe side, I just charge in about 10 minute increments. With that being said, a charge does last a long time.

got this rechargeable light for walking my dog at night and its working great! been using it for three weeks now and that battery life is solid - used it for evening walks all week on medium setting before needing a recharge. really like that lcd screen showing battery level so i know exactly when to charge up. those five light modes come in handy - use low mode around the neighborhood and high when were on darker trails. charging is simple with the usb-c cable and its nice having both rechargeable and aaa battery options. few things to watch out for tho - its a bit hefty in your pocket and that bright mode drains the battery pretty quick if youre not careful. survived getting dropped on my driveway and caught in a rainstorm without any issues. beam adjusts from wide to narrow which helps when looking for my dogs tennis balls in the bushes at night. the holster works fine but could use better stitching around the edges. makes night walks feel safer and helps spot those sneaky potholes before stepping in them. just remember to keep it charged (takes about 3 hours from empty) and maybe grab some backup aaa batteries for longer trips. nice having different brightness options instead of just on/off like my old flashlight.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

My property is very dark at night lacking lights because it’s expensive, but this flashlight comes in so handy when I need to see my dog and what trouble she’s getting in to….it gives me a peace of mind and security from potential harm doers. I highly recommend. I also love that its’s rechargeable and comes with back-up non-rechargeable batteries (included!) option in a nice hard case with all the bells and whistles

Great versatile, bright light

I was very impressed with this flashlight, which came inside a nice storage case. It comes with high capacity rechargeable battery but it also provides an adapter that can be used with 3 AAA batteries, which is also included. The flashlight is heavy duty and feels solid in my hand. I love the digital LED screen that show s the remaining battery level but what's really impressive is the fact that this is one of the brightest flashlight I've seen. It's like a super wide flood light but it has retractable head that can change from wide to narrow beam light that can direct the light to specific focal point. With 3 brightness settings as well as SOS and strobe light modes, it's very versatile for any occasion, not to mention that it can acts as an emergency power bank to charge your phone using the built-in USB-A port. I love the fluorescent multi-color strips around the flashlight head and tail that makes it look very fancy and the included lanyard and belt clip makes it super convenient and safe to use. I'm very impressed with this super bright flashlight so highly recommend it!

Sturdy and bright LED and rechargable flashlight that has good features like the different light modes and battery percentage indicator. It's a good size light that you can wear on your belt in a holster but it's not a pocket size light.
