This, in addition with a new interconnect cable, fixed the corrupted display issue on my phone. I used it long enough to get the information off of the phone and I am retaining it as a backup. It is not as vivid as the original screen, but that doesn't matter to me. The included tools were of reasonable quality and helped complete the job. However, I needed a PH0 for the phone's screws where this kit includes a PH1 equivalent. Using the wrong size driver could strip the screw heads. The actual fitment and build of the phone frame was sufficient and I didn't have any issues getting screws in. This kit also included an unlabeled bottle of adhesive dissolver that did work. I mostly followed the iFixit guide for screen and battery replacement but had to use my best judgement where this repair deviated from the written instructions. It includes adhesive strips that may help keep the back on, but I am accepting the risk that once opened the phone is no longer splash proof/splash resistant.

I only give it 4 stars because the screen is abnormally sensitive even with a screen protector which is mildly annoying but for the price I think it was worth it. This also may not be an issue that affects all of them I could have just pulled the short straw.

Works. I was able to recover 15gb nudes because of this screen enabling me to access the data. Added to that, I have a phone to play with now. Worthy. Comes with all the necessary tools. Just watch a video and you're gonna be okay.

In China the word "Glass" must translate to "Plastic". Working fine so far, but a bit hazy, since it's Chinese Glass (Plastic). Plastic is not good because it will be all scratched soon. It comes with a screen cover but then all the lint and crap show on the new screen, which kinda spoils any new screen appreciation. I would recommend only in cases like mine where I will be getting a new phone in a year or hopefully 2. This will keep the phone working and allow better value over time! I'm cheap on phones and get only what I need! I once bought a watch box here...with "Glass" lid. Guess what the window was made of. You guessed it.

Display works except for the finger print scanner, I would have given it a 4 if it worked. Colors are not as vibrant as the original but it works and I no longer have a shattered screen
