Overall, I am happy with this case. It is beautiful, and I expect that when it breaks I will choose to buy another one or one that is similar. There are some things you should keep in mind, though:1.) I can confirm that, as other reviewers have said, this case is quite fragile. In the three weeks that I've had it, it has acquired a couple of dents from where it has hit the edges of hard objects and has a crack across the top. Two other cracks caused part of the front edge (in front of the power button) to fall off, but I was able to smooth the edges with a nail file and now it is actually easier to access the button. None of this was the result of a big drop - just setting it down too roughly on a hard surface could be enough to cause minor damage. For someone used to plastic cases, it might take a while to get used to needing to be more gentle. Undoubtedly, it is going to last a much shorter time than your average plastic case, but personally I don't mind, considering the price.2.) I was a bit worried about getting splinters from it, but so far that hasn't been a problem - the edges are a bit rough but most of the exterior surfaces are very smooth. Keep in mind though that damage from drops could cause splintering.3.) There is felt adhered to the inside to prevent it from scratching the back of phone, but it might scratch the sides of phone (I haven't actually looked for scratches so its hard to say, it might not scratch the metal since it's such a soft wood).

I have purchased this case 3 times. It is absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it.Some remarks about myself: I can count the amount of times I have dropped my phone on one hand after owning a cell for 10+ years. My first time purchasing this case I expected that it would not be able to withstand being dropped.Pros :The price! Go to target and buy a 20 dollar plastic case (6-8 dollars on amazon) that probably won't protect your screen but will be able to be dropped multiple times, or buy this beautiful case and try to remember that you are holding a PS4 in your hand.All three times I have bought the case it has fit great. I live in Minnesota and when the seasons change, specifically between fall and winter, the case starts to loosen around the phone, but it still stays together and protects the phone. From spring to summer the case returns to normal.I have never been disappointed in the feel, or art on the case. Just a great job all around and could not be happier with the case.Get real:I am not going to say Cons, because I honestly don't have any. I recognize the reviews that say it broke on the first drop and I respond with "What did you expect from thin decorative wood?" I started off by saying I bought it 3 times for a reason. It does break. My son dropped my phone twice on hard wood floor and it broke both times; I wasn't upset with him, and I am not upset with the case or manufacturer. Bottom line, the phone survived. The screen did not crack, and there were no chips on the phone. The case did the job for which it was designed, in my opinion. My second purchase the phone/case fell out of my pocket while sitting on a yoga ball (onto a hard wood floor from ~2 - 2 1/2 feet) and there was no damage to the case or phone. I will also say in my latest purchase, in January of 2016, the case is much thicker and has addressed some weaknesses that were present in previous purchases, specifically around the power button and volume/mute controls.**Actual Potential Con**The case fits the shipped iPhone headset jack easily, but if you have 3rd party headphones it may take some sanding to allow the jack to fit.Weight and feel: This case adds considerable size to the phone and will feel very strange at first. I am male with M-L hands and can still move around the screen with ease. When I have been without the case my iPhone feels very small. I have not noticed any differences in weight.Final thoughts: If you drop your phone often, don't buy this case and expect it to stay together. If you want an artistic case, that feels great in your hand, and will protect your phone when dropped (despite the condition of the case itself) then buy it.

Beautiful case. Can't complain about the looks.... It's strong and sturdy BUT...It is TOO sturdy. Not recommended for someone using invisible shield on the back of their iPhone. Although it is felt lined, the snugness of the case will nick it up.Also, if you ever want to remove the case.... WIGGLE IT OFF. It is a pain in the ass to take the case off. Not recommended for someone like me who likes to change iPhone cases frequently. Do not EVER try to force or pry it off, it will snap. If it's small and not obnoxious though (the piece you break off), some super glue will fix it with no problem.So in conclusion - Don't use if you have back protection, and don't force the case off. Also don't buy if you change iPhone cases frequently and want to do so without manual labor.

shattered to pieces in less than 2 days. The phone with case on was dropped from an end table (about 2 and half feet) and from my pocket (also about 2 feet). A piece broke off each time, the second fall the majority of the side came off so it will no longer hold the phone in. The art and overall look of the case was great but its far too fragile to be practical.

Nice and Sturdy case and aesthetically pleasing. I was apprehensive about the case since several people said they didn’t like it, or had bad experiences when dropped. I bought it anyway knowing that it may not survive a drop because it was reasonably priced. I have now had it for over a month and just recently it did take a drop and neither the case, or my phone was damaged. It was not a high drop as it fell out of the pocket of my pants when I was changing but fell on a tile floor. Still going strong and the case fit tightly since day one.

For the price you really cannot beat it. I've had this for a few months now and it has never cracked. The only issue I had with the product is that the holes for the audio plug is really small. The only audio plug i could get in there was the original one that came with the phone. I solved this probably by taking my drill and making the whole bigger. Now i can plug in all my headsets/headphones.

Do not buy this item! While the wood is beautiful and carved very nicely, I dropped it onto the carpet and it cracked within just a few hours of receiving. It also broke in a second place just by me pushing my finger down to turn the phone off! I’ve re-glued it now twice and it continues to break in various places-and I am not clumsy-this is from typical usage.

Great quality! The design is even nicer in the flesh! So glad we choose this one. It is even lined with velour!
