This set of 16 large Rubber wood Sensory Blocks contains beads, transparent acrylic, colored sand and water/glitter filled pockets in 4 different shapes (square, rectangle, triangle and semi-circle). The sensory blocks will assist with shape and color identification as all the components follow the same convention of color and shape. So for example, regardless of the contents of the block the squares are always red. The combination of smooth wood exterior and the brightly colored sensory center makes this a valuable learning resource. Awesome product. Made well, sturdy. My 18 month old niece loves the blocks not just for building, but for looking through, seeing the effects of gravity, making shapes. This is a great product.

Great Quality Montessori Wood blocks
Great quality, well built. It is meant for an older toddler but my 8 month old loves to throw them and hear the loud sounds they make! I only give them to her when I’m there to supervise. Can’t wait to see her build with them in the future. Great for any Montessori minded parents out there. Couldn’t believe the price compared to other sensory block sets out there.

Sehr spannende, vielseitig bespielbare Bausteine
Lange habe ich mit mir gerungen, ob ich diese Bausteine kaufen soll. Ich fand sie so toll, aber auch recht teuer. Zudem gibt es mehrere Anbieter und leider nur wenige Rezensionen und keine Fotos. Letztendlich habe ich sie dann doch bestellt und bin glücklicherweise nicht enttäuscht worden:Das Set enthält insgesamt 16 Bausteine. Es gibt vier Formen (Rechteck, Quadrat, Dreieck, Halbkreis), denen jeweils eine Farbe zugeordnet ist (blau, rot, grün, gelb). Die Bausteine bestehen außen aus einem stabilen Holzrahmen, im inneren befindet sich eine transparente Kunststoffscheibe bzw. -kammer, die entweder einfach farbig transparent ist oder aber mit farbigem Sand, farbigem (Glitzer-)Wasser oder farbigen Plastikkügelchen gefüllt ist.Positiv überrascht war ich beim Auspacken von der Größe der Bausteine. So messen die Rechtecke ca. 7x14 cm, die Quadrate ca. 7x7 cm, die Dreiecke haben eine Kantenlänge von ca. 14 cm sowie eine Höhe von ca. 12 cm und die Halbkreise haben eine Kantenlänge von ca. 14 cm und eine von Höhe von ca. 7 cm. Die Steine sind also recht groß. So macht das Erkunden und Bauen gleich noch mehr Spaß. Unser Zweijähriger ist sehr fasziniert von den Steinen. Er schaut immer wieder durch die bunten Fenstersteine, hält sie dabei voreinander und kippt die gefüllten Steine hin- und her oder türmt sie auf.Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist gut. Die Bausteine erscheinen mir recht robust. Die Kanten sind rund und alle Oberflächen glatt geschliffen. An manchen Stellen (zur Kunststoffscheibe hin) befand sich zwar der ein oder andere Holzspan/Minisplitter, ich konnte jedoch alles schnell entfernen. Ich hatte zu keiner Zeit Bedenken, dass sich unser zweijähriger Sohn an den Steinen verletzen könnte. Die Altersempfehlung (laut Kartonaufdruck) liegt bei 18 Monaten, also einem Alter, in dem Kinder auch nicht mehr alles in den Mund stecken.Die einzigen kleinen Mängel bei unserem Steinen sind, dass ein Quadrat nicht ganz exakt gesägt und es daher minimal kleiner als die anderen drei ist, zwei blaue Kügelchen unlösbar zwischen den Kunststoffscheiben verklemmt sind und dass sich trotz eigentlich guter Verpackung schon ein paar kleine Kratzer auf manchen Kunststoffscheiben befanden. Da Kratzer im Spiel aber sowieso ganz schnell entstehen und uns die anderen Dinge auch nicht sehr stören, sind die Bausteine bei uns eingezogen und machen uns seitdem viel Spaß.

Be cautious
Loved these but they are very expensive but reviews were very good. Opened them and one already had a crack in (red) the after 2 day of playing with them (birthday) another is cracked. There was no way to send company a message so this is now my review. Shame as very expensive and I can’t imagine them lasting very long.
