I love this shaver, but what's not to love. It's a Wahl, stainless stell, holds a charge for a long time, the attachments quickly snap on and off easily with no issues. the blades are sharp and have held their edge for years, it's highly functional and comes with it's own carrying bag and small bit of oil for the blades. Very good shaver for the price.

I bought the same unit almost eight years ago. It was still going strong except for the cutter head that was getting a little loose. So glad I found this on Amazon; the other crap at Walmart is hot garbage compared to this. I don't use any attachments (except for the nether region) and cut my hair 2 or 3 times a week. The other attachments for the ear and nose hair works great. The shaving head works pretty well for a quick knock down of facial hair, and really works well for shaving prep. Buzz it with the electric shaver first and your razor will last a long ass time cuz you'll be done shaving fast!! Love this thing.

Great trimmer with a very powerful motor with sharp blades to catch the everything and great attachments included. Amazing battery life.Only 1 negative - At this price it should have a body groomer included!

I'm on my third Wahl Stainless Steel Trimmer. That says it all.I love these trimmers, but they don't last. The same thing always defeats them: water corrodes the switch. The first one was within warranty, and Wahl replaced it free of charge; the second was out of warranty, and Wahl offered to fix it for twenty dollars, but I couldn't go to work looking like a caveman, so I bought another out of pocket.Why not give up on them? To my mind, they are just too good otherwise. The trimmer has a beautiful shape, which fits my hand and my face. It has a heft that you don't find in most appliances these days. The finish is gorgeous—it sits right next to my safety razor and my shaving bowl. The battery lasts forever on a single charge. The attachments are excellent. But most of all, I simply enjoy using it.Perhaps I'll try to be a bit more careful. Wipe it down after shaving with oil. Probably not. Probably in six years I'll buy another one. But the trimming between now and then will be right, and that is enough.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I really wanted to write this one. The reason is that this product disappointed me so much, and I was so upset about the money and time I wasted that I figured I should spend a little more time to write this review.Let’s start from the beginning.I bought the Wahl Model 9864SS with the grooming kit. Before buying it, I watched a lot of reviews, read various articles, and looked at different product feedback. Most of the reviews said it was a good product, and some influencers even did reviews claiming it was great, and I believed them (now I’m thinking they were probably paid to promote it). So, I spent a lot of time picking a trimmer, I didn’t want to skimp on money—I wanted to buy a quality product, and I relied on online reviews and YouTube videos. That turned out to be a mistake.I used this product—or, to be more accurate, I tried to use it—for about a year. During that time, the motor got stuck three times, and I had to fix it myself. It didn’t get stuck because the motor is bad, but because this trimmer has almost no water resistance. I want to point out that I never submerged it in water, I just rinsed the blade under running water, and that was enough for water to get inside the device.I took it apart so you can see what it’s made of. The first time I took it apart, I was cursing. What did I pay over $90 for!? There’s no water resistance in this device at all. The motor is just the cheapest Chinese junk you can find. Yes, they wrapped it all up in a nice shiny package, but once you take it off, you’re left with the cheapest components possible, plus the complete lack of any water resistance. The manufacturer expects me to always clean it dry using the brushes that come with it.When you first hold this device, it feels heavy and “premium,” and you think it’s a great product with quality parts, but when I removed the metal cover, I discovered that it’s just a chunk of cheap plastic.There are a few positives, though—the accessories are nice, the case is pretty, and it comes with many attachments, some of which I did use. The blade isn’t the worst, but it’s definitely not great either. By the end of the first and last year of use, it had become quite dull, even though I used it about once a week.I also want to note the absolutely ugly and loud charger. The entire progressive world has long been using USB-C, but not in this product, it uses some kind of idiotic charger.This purchase disappointed me like no other. I regret the time I spent searching for a good product, and I feel like I was deceived. This product is not worth $90 or more. Out of the entire set, I only kept the case, and I’ll use it for something else. Everything else went straight into the trash.I definitely don’t recommend this product, and I won’t be buying anything from Wahl again.

I shave my head and trim my beard with this and it has all that I need in a nice travel bag. I’ve used many trimmers but this one is worth it. It cuts well and has a quality feel to it.
