To whom it may concern this product is a scam. I bought it so I might be able to use my RJ45 [ethernet cable] via my room's phone line. And when I connected everything nothing, no connection or ability to read that the cable was in.At first I thought hey it might be a user error, so I switch to another cable and still nothing, I tried it again with a new cable that I just bought still in the bag and nothing. So when I check in on the adapter come to my surprise it was broken.The item came with a warranty from the manufacturer and a number to call, I did and the customer service just hanged up on me and blocked my number. I called Amazon about this and they said the best they can do is to replace it with a new one from the same shady company that just blocked and hanged up on me.Truly this was a bad experience on both ends from both customer support teams. If I can give this product a rating lower than 1 I wish I could since it would be in the negatives.

The item seems to be well made and it is very easy to connect. I had to return it only because it wasn't compatible with my modem and routers.

Could I have made these myself? Yes. Did I want to? Nope, and I'm glad I found these on Amazon. The price isn't too bad, and they work great for letting us use a couple old rotary phones through the CAT6 cabling running throughout our house. Crimping looks good, and I like that everything is black. Not much else to say, really - they work like you'd expect, and I'm happy with them!
