Beautiful Instrument
This really is a beautiful instrument! I've played guitars and in many bands for 30 years and I am really surprised by what was ill take a risk purchase. I looks fantastic, the finish is amazing. The feel beyond a normal any guitar personal set up is exceptional and most of all the sound and sustain equals any mid range price guitar. Would recommend π

Basically a Good Metal Shredder
Needed quite a bit of minor set up work, mainly truss rod adjustment to give ten thou string/neck relief -some shredders might like a completely flat neck relief - I don't. Two tuners were not angled right on the headstock but easily corrected with minor adjustment. Action a little high but easily adjusted but screws are above some bridge saddles but not an issue for me. Intonation was very good and no adjustment needed. Finish is excellent but some screws needed a small amount of tightening, mainly a bridge screw and some machine head nuts. For the price paid inc. delivery (Β£240) very good value for money. A nice pretty burl top finish but does this appeal to metal heads? The pickups are great with very high output at the bridge pickup. 4 stars because of the setting up required but if you can do these minor adjustments then this is 5 stars for the price charged. Good guitar overall.

Monster guitar the Monsoon
This guitar is exceptional, worth at least twice the money. Don't just take my word for it, there's plenty of YouTube videos by people with vastly more experience than I, that confirm the quality of this guitar. If you're after a cheaper quality option Leo Jaymz guitars are definitely the answer. A hell of a lot of guitar at a budget price.. Quality!! Super pleased!!!

Needs work
Don't believe all the reviews you see on YouTube. The guitar is nice enough and yes it has stainless round end frets, but they are badly installed and are all over the place. You will need to do fretwork on this before you can play it. Pickup wise it is very good, sounds great to be honest. Locking tuners are great and do the job nicely and the finish is generally good, for the money you get what you pay for, maybe a bit more than you pay for but just be aware that while the frets are good, they will need work.

Love this guitar ππ€
Absolutely love this guitar, after a basic set up (action lowered and intonation checked), it plays incredibly well. Finish and hardware are fantastic quality and the locking tuners really are first class. The guitar looks like nothing else out there, especially with finish and reverse headstock. I have close to 40 guitars (some high-end) and this is as good as any of those. So impressed with it that I also bought the same model again, this time in black with the gold hardware π€

AMAZED
The guitar came well packaged and ready to play. Intonation very good, set up very good. I am experienced in buying guitars, been playing for 30 years. This guitar has exceeded my expectations the most. Pickups are bright and very hot. The neck is smooth and the frets are very large. I love the simplicity of the electrics and the volume dial is solid. The pick up selector switch feels slightly flimsy, but this is the only area where this guitar felt like a "budget instrument" Playing though a Boss Katana Combo, it does well across a variety of tones. The pick ups are very hot as i said and managing gain and the EQ to compensate for the volume. Better loud than quiete though right! This guitar is a 9/10 for me Value is insane. Plays like a guitar of twice the price.

What violet paint?
Great guitar, plays like butter, sounds good, but, I think they ran out of violet paint on mine, disappointed with the colour, but everything is great, was tempted to return it but it just plays like a dream

Edit: I gave it one more star because after set-up, itβs even better. This is one hell of a guitar and Iβm really glad I bought it. If you feel like itβs a risk, Iβd recommend ordering anyhow because, in my experience, itβs beyond worth it. Thereβs some interview vids online with the owner of the Leo Jaymz, who is pretty straightforward in his own assessment of the guitars and why theyβre cheaper and better equipped than most budget guitars. Research it but look out for gear snobs, who will almost always cite how much better an expensive brand name is without having tried or compared the LJ guitar. - kp. Original post: I bought this with trepidation, but I donβt regret it. The colour (green burl) is gorgeous. The locking tuners are nice and make string changes much less laborious (you arenβt winding forever, which is nice). It has a beautiful headstock that matches the body. The action is high for me, and Iβll take it in for a set-up to nail down the intonation, which is slightly off on two strings, a little more than slightly on the D and B. For those with small hands, the shallow D-shaped neck is thin glides nicely. I find that the pickups are clear and quite good. For the price, this is a pretty cool guitar that looks fabulous and plays well. I didnβt expect it to be this good, but it is. I will definitely get another Leo Jaymez down the line.

I just returned a name brand guitar that cost twice the price of my LJ Monsoon that showed up with scratches in the finish even though the box was undamaged showing they have no quality control. This guitar showed up perfect and has way better features than the name brand that cost twice the price. The burl top is awesome, but every other part of the guitar is a premium feature, from the locking tuners, scalloped and painted reverse headstock, roasted maple neck, 21:1 locking tuners, and AlnicoV pickups, to the offset inlays, and bound body and neck.

Wow, what an impressive guitar! Aesthetically, it's beautiful. The violet color, finish, and design are all nice. The neck is thin, fast, and "shreddy". The stainless steel frets are fat and smooth as butter. The binding around the body AND neck add to the quality feel. The hardware is all high quality. I love the feel of the hip shot style bridge. The Alnico 5 pickups are hot (15.8k & 7.5K resistance) and sound great. The tuners are smooth and precise with a 21:1 gear ratio. Out of the box the guitar needed a little adjustment. After setup this guitar feels and plays like a $600+ guitar. I just can't say enough how pleased I am with this guitar. If the headstock said Ibanez or Schecter it would sell for 4x the price.

I own 4 gibsons-one is a slash 1-500 built, yamaha 1820, peavey wolfgang, american ultra strats, tele's, ibanez 2480, and this is the best quality built and acoustically resonating guitar I have- binded ball end frets? they are insane. I take look backs at it in disbelief. I bought 2 other leo jaymz and still have the same opinion on both. Don't go by the guy who says intoation was off-all guitars need a set up and a quick video will show you how-takes 5 min I don't know if these big brands are gonna last
