Fit perfectly
I was waiting to see if it would hold up. I had a small hole in the one before and water was everywhere π this was a great replacement and the value and quality is on point. It fit perfectly fine and functional.

Turns out this wasn't my leak point, but it was still easy to install
My LG WM3070HRA (same as the WM3070HWA, just a different color) had started leaking around the base. At first I just assumed it was this hose since it sounded like it was a common failure point, and I ordered the replacement without looking into it more. Mainly because I didn't have time beforehand to look into it since I was leaving on a trip and just wanted to have this part delivered before I got back.Fortunately I turned off the hot/cold water before leaving for a couple weeks, because the actual source of the leak was the cold water inlet valve. I think it was the middle/main solenoid of the 3 cold water valves that had a slow leak. Maybe it only leaks when it's allowing water through it and not when it's at rest, but either way, I'm just glad I turned the water off so I didn't have a big puddle when I got back from vacation.Still, I didn't realize where the leak was from until I replaced this hose and ran a test load only to see water still dripping, but at least now I had the back cover taken off and had pulled it away from the wall. So I could see this new hose was bone dry as it should be, and the leak was coming from higher up. Removing the top of the washer is super easy (two screws and it just slides back and off). That's when I saw the real culprit... replacement for that is arriving today so... fingers crossed.Besides my diagnostic error at first, I figured it's good to replace this anyway. The old hose was fine but caked up from muck over the years. I may clean it out the best I can and keep it as a spare "just in case", because you never know when something pointy might wind up in there and poke a small hole or whatever. The quality of the hose seemed to be about the same as the OEM. Maybe a little thinner, but honestly it's hard to tell one way or the other. The old one could just be more rigid and stiff from age, while the new one is more flexible/pliable. It was easy to get all 3 ends hooked up and clamped into place, and since my test load didn't show any leakage there, I'm satisfied.

A bit challenging to put in, but totally worth the effort
Our 7 year old LG front load washer started leaking on a Friday night. Thank goodness for the Internet. With one day shipping, this part was at our door by Monday. Trusting the reviews here, stating if you have a front load LG that's leaking, this is the culprit, we ordered this part without even taking the washer apart first. The install wasn't too complicated, but it took way longer than the 10 minutes some other reviewers and you tubers suggested. The laundry room in our house is pretty tight, so we didn't have the luxury of getting the washer into the optimal position, which would have made it a quicker job. We managed to get by with an adjustable wrench and flat head and Phillips head screwdriver. (Phillips for the back panel, flat to loosen the center - and largest - clamp on the part.)For handier folks and those who aren't sleep deprived, this may go without saying, but use the drain hose (on our machine it's located on the bottom left behind a little panel) to empty stinky water out before getting started. Also, have a towel handy and use it to prevent scratches to the machine as well as for mopping up. Lastly, since you're already moving the machine away from the wall, it wouldn't hurt to replace the hoses in back, which are supposed to be replaced every five years. We didn't think of this until 10 pm when we were in the thick of things, but I wish we had started prepared to tackle that as well.Once the new part was in, we tried to find the source of the leak in the old part. We never did. The machine has not had any issues since then, though. It has been handing 1-4 loads a day in our 8 person household with no problem for a couple of weeks now since replacing the part.Update: Fall-Winter 2016-17. The washer again began gushing water, and I assumed this piece was the culprit. I was disappointed that it had only lasted for two years. As it turns out, the piece was at fault, but because it had come loose during a separate repair to the machine, not because the part itself had failed. We fixed the clamps on both ends and have not had any problems since. If you examine the part and there are no holes, the washer may be leaking because this part isn't attached firmly on either end.

Good price
Seems to be a great price compared to local.

This is an EASY repair!
This item was a perfect match for my LG WM0642HW and installation was very easy after I watched a few YouTube videos. I am a housewife with absolutely no experience repairing washing machines. It took me about 2 hours since I photographed everything as I took it apart. When I was done, the machine no longer leaked. Mission accomplished!!! Since this repair went so smoothly, I decided to replace the drain pump when the OE code showed up. That repair only took me 30 minutes because Its the same process. For those of you who are thinking about doing this repair, I would suggest: 1) use a small drill but donβt strip the screws, 2) coat the gasket that goes around the door boot with liquid detergentbefore you slip it back on, and 3) photograph as you dismantle. I simply cannot believe that my washer works like new and it cost less me less than $50 to fix it but itβs true!

Worth the effort
18 year old LG front loader has a new lease on life. No more leaks. Took 45 minutes to drag the washing machine out and remove the old and install this. Watched a YouTube video and used a pair of channel locks. It's been 3- months and it's dry as a bone.
