This a really good gadget and it’s great for toasting, grilling and makes lovely grilled Paninis. It’s easy to switch from toasting to grilling by flipping it to a horizontal position you then choose which ever bread you are using and it suggests a grilling time, but you can pull the grill pan out to check your panini/ bagel and the timer will pause for you. The only downside to it is you can only grill one sandwich or bagel at a time, so if you want to make lunch for several people it can take a while. It’s easy to clean with warm soapy water

So far its been amazing makes everything so easy to make we've had the best paninis toasties and crumpets and super thick fresh cut toast. Its so simple to use. I see people posting that it only toasts on one side. That's not the case just remember to turn off the defrost and bagel setting lights and its perfect. So far ive made many of everything but I think my favourite so far has been sliced beef with caramelised onions and goats cheese. What an eye opener 👏 so happy that I purchased this item it seems expensive but it is worth every penny what a game changer.

After looking for a new toaster that will toast all the slice of bread I settled on this one. I liked the Idea that you don't just get a toaster you get something much more capable. Yes it makes great toast with all the slice getting toasted but when you lay it down it becomes a whole different appliance, you have a grill and a mini oven. I haven't used it to it's full potential but what I have done it does well. I enjoy cheese on toast, yep it does that, Panini, yep that too, I even warm frozen Yorkshire puddings puddings in it and the toast toppers (puddings need to be upside down or they burn). Living on my own with reduced mobility I no longer have a traditional cooker so this filled the gap that an air frier can't do or do well. If you are stuck for space in your kitchen this will help as most people have a toaster but this is so much more. I also like that it has a countdown for toast so you know when it is going to pop and after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant at first but I have had non of the problems some other reviewers have had, the toast is always brown no matter if it's the first two slices or the 4th two slices they all come out nice. The crumb tray slides out from the bottom for cleaning and the body just needs a wipe down with a damp cloth (I do use a mini vacuum to clean the crumb tray) and the grill pan cleans very easily too, a little soap and water.

I purchased this because I have limited space and wanted a panini press. Overall it is a good machine. The grill and panini works very well. The machine is not small around the size of a medium/large toaster, but does away the need for additional equipment such as a panini press. The toaster is okay, but not perfect. It can manage thick items but does struggle with length of bread (hence 4 stars). I got this at black friday price and and may have been disappointed if I had paid £50 more.

Well I for one am very impressed with this device. I really like the stone/gold colour way, which is unusual but quite subtle. The stone colour, a light taupe shade and the gold, fairly muted and cool in tone so it's subtle with a sheen to it rather than bling-bling looking. The real trick to this is that it's a toaster with extra features, and so conceals a less used gadget (a panini press) plus more functionality in the footprint of a long slot toaster. The toaster function is very good, with a nice deep slot. This browns pretty evenly. The functions are all controlled by light touch digital buttons, with a bright white display LED panel showing temperature, and time remaining for each selected cooking cycle. To convert this from a toaster to a grill/panini press you simply push the slot lever right down, turn the device gently on its side (it has sensors), and add the insert pan. The panini press part is easy to add/remove with a simple eject button to release. The grill part comfortably fits two slices of bread from an 800g loaf. Toasted sandwiches made in this are lovely, with a dry, crunchy finish to the bread and soft, gooey filling. When this isn't in use, the grill/panini press inserts can be kept inside the toaster, and the whole thing has a well made, premium appearance that suggests good longevity. The one thing I will say on the negative side about this physically is that there's not a great deal of colour contrast between the white writing on the buttons and the gold background colour. My parents aren't so keen on it and struggle to use it. In some ways I regret opting for this colour way rather than the classic silver and black, which looks as though it has better distinction between the writing and the body of the device. The price point is quite high at £149. That said, this does a really good job of space saving multifunction, so for me has justified its price.

I’ve been a big Ninja fan for many years, but that’s about to change, my experience with the toaster/grill was very disappointing leading me to question if this machine was even a genuine Ninja? I initially thought the outside casing was covered in protective plastic it looked so poor, but it wasn’t, the satin finish was just so poor. The toasting side of things seemed ok, the grilling not so. The grill pan was a poor fit and the whole machine casing became dangerously hot, the whole thing moved about when the grill tray was removed, tempting you to steady it with your hand, ouch!! Can’t believe it’s a Ninja. Not acceptable. Returned for a refund.
