Best travel Alarm
One of the best things I’ve ever purchased. I’m pretty much deaf and when traveling there’s always a worry of whether I will wake up in time for tours, planes, trains, etc. This is way to use, easy to travel with and works like a charm.

Travels well
I am hearing impaired, so the vibration mode is great. I had this clock for about 20 years, and it finally quit working after falling off my bedside table many times, so I had to get a new one. The only caveat I have is to make sure the alarm is not set on vibrate if it’s not under your pillow, like sitting on a bedside table. It may hop off the table while vibrating! The alarm is usually loud enough if I’m laying on my bad ear.

Perfect for traveling, if you need something dependable to wake you up
I bought this to take to my mom's so I didn't have to pack up my clock from home and take it every time I go to visit her. Very small but powerful! Easy to set time and alarm, easy to use, very glad I bought this!

Loud ring and clapper great
Easy to use. I clip it to inside of pillowcases under my Memory form pieces Loud as long as I end up sleeping under my good ear on right side. When I toss and turn onto my left ear which I’m totally deaf it doesn’t work of course. Value of price is good for my limited income.

Failed after a month! Tedious warranty process! Buy something else
SUMMARY: This so-called "SonicAlert alarm" failed to live up to its name after a month, and the supposed warranty shows a lack of confidence and seems intentionally tedious. Ultimately, this dumb red clock, with its perfectly silent and still "alarm," resulted in my oversleeping multiple mornings and wasting hours over multiple weeks on their tedious warranty process and testing and replacing batteries. I would rate the clock 5-stars after a day and 1-star after a month for the failure of its alarm and painfully tedious warranty. Buy something else.FAILURE AFTER A MONTH: If you want a perfectly silent and still "alarm" with a tedious warranty process, this might be just the alarm for you! Would you like me to post a video of how silent and still this alarm is when it goes off?WARRANTY FLAWS: After the one-month Amazon seller period, the company requires an email, answers from a no-reply address so you cannot simply reply to sender, requires information even if you already provided all that information in your original message to them, then opts whether or not to honor their warranty, and requires you to mail the product at your experience and hope they "approve" the warranty they owe you.How confident is this company in their products? How easy will they make the warranty process for you? Let's quote how the company describes its warranty in its return emails!• "We do not grant warranty requests for products received through a state or governmental program, agency, or department."• "International product purchases on Amazon or elsewhere are not covered by the Sonic Alert warranty."• "Within the warranty period, your product will only be replaced once." (Even if their lousy products continue to fail monthly?)• "If we receive your product past the warranty date or the return has not been authorized, Sonic Alert will refuse to replace your product."• "You can have your product shipped back to you at your expense. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return shipping of the unauthorized return. Sonic Alert will retain the product for 30 days and then discard it." (Wow, we can pay to get this lousy paperweight returned?)• "Products that are purchased through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers are not covered with a Sonic Alert warranty."• "We are not responsible for any products sold through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or unrecognized sellers. If a product is returned to us and has been purchased via eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers, it can be shipped back to the customer at their expense. You will be billed by Sonic Alert for the shipping expense our business incurs."• "To be considered for a Sonic Alert warranty replacement, you must submit the following information with the reason for the return to [email protected] or 850 Stephenson Hwy., Suite 323, Troy, MI 48083..." (In reply to my message that included all the information they requested already including my name, address, Amazon purchase date and order number...)SUGGESTION TO SHOPPERS: Although you want a loud vibrating portable alarm clock, avoid my regret at buying this worse than useless product. Find an alarm that works.SUGGESTION TO COMPANY: Make a long-lasting product, and streamline your warranty process for all authentic Sonic Alert products.

Strong vibration will wake anyone up. Wish it had a battery low indicator though.
I am very familiar with and like Sonic Alert products so I chose their travel alarm clock when I needed one. It was a good choice although I wish a couple of things were different. This round alarm clock comes with a nice zip around carry bag. It has a tough ribbon with a clip on it to attach it to a pillow case or wherever you set it. That's a good idea so it doesn't get lost or drop out of bed when you're asleep. This unit takes two AA batteries and one AAA one which are included. The smaller battery is for the light on the display and the others are for the alarm. Setting the time and alarm are very simple. No instructions needed. You can choose to wake up by a buzzing/alarm sound, a strong vibration, or both. I am hearing impaired and can't even hear the alarm but I sure can feel the vibration! It's very strong. I love that this clock allows me to infinitely hit the snooze button. I hate when an alarm gives me just one or two chances then stops alerting me to wake up. I usually just fall back to sleep. This one goes until you manually turn the clock off.All that is great and it works wonderfully. It work me up several times with a vibration that I could not ignore. But there are a couple of things that I wish were different about this clock. For one, there is no indicator that the batteries are getting low. They just say that, when the alarm or vibration are weak, to change the batteries. That makes me nervous. If the batteries die, I won't wake up in time. Also, the light that illuminates the time is just a little orange one that points toward the numbers. It is not back light. I don't really care much about that but it seems that the numbers should be lit up by default but, of course, that takes battery power.Otherwise though. this keeps time well, shakes me awake with a very strong vibration, and is portable for travel or to use anywhere that an outlet isn't available. I used it when I slept on the vouch the other night. I put it next to my head clipped to the pillow and it did its thing. I was worried it wouldn't but it came through perfectly. I trust Sonic Alert and have two of their plug in clocks that are wonderful for someone who needs a shaker or a very loud alarm. I will just change the batteries when I sense the vibration is not as strong as usual. Maybe I will get some rechargeable ones and charge them each time I use the clock so I know they are fresh. Either way, this works for me and I am happy to have it. My Fitbit was my alarm but it only vibrates once then stops and I often fell back to sleep.
