The first 4 movies in the classic Lemon Popsicle series;Lemon Popsicle, Going Steady, Hot Bubblegum and Private Popsicle. Lemon Popsicle was originally released in 1978, a comedy which focuses on three high school kids growing up in Tel Aviv and deals with their relationships with each other and of course girls. Lemon Popsicle recreates a fifties teenagers life perfectly - including the clothes, music, behaviour, scenery and cars.

Lemon Popsicle box set dvd's
This took me back, it's dubbed but if u can appreciate how funny the film is n also how sad it is too, it's easy to forget the dubbing, seen the set at cinema in the late 70's, great films.

Trip down memory lane
Sitting talking about the 80's one night these films came up in conversation and I had to buy them. I had no idea there were so many and so far I've only watched the 1st one as they are so dated. Nice to have though!

not as crass as the American version of this " The Last American Virgin" but worth viewing if for no other reason than sampling
Just got it and the music alone is worth the price. Teenage antics, not as crass as the American version of this " The Last American Virgin" but worth viewing if for no other reason than sampling the life in Israel in the 50's maybe not but a nice fantasy. Now I have to hunt down and get all of the series. Compulsive obsessive collector you know. For the DVD set made by Blackhorse in 2008 an obvious transfer from VHS by the video quality. The framing of the shots are close and cropped to a slight degree, tends to make you think some action is missed. The budget reflects Golan n Globus. Did I like this movie yes but I have over 5000 movies and to date I have only found two I will never watch.
