Just bought remington 2400w hair dryer, attached diffuser but now can't get it off! Frightened to pull too hard incase I break it.

Perfect replacement for my last Remington hair dryer
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS.I bought this to replace my 7year old Remington hair dryer that finally croaked! And it’s PERFECT!I have thick hair and most dryers take forever so I’ve always stuck with Remington! It’s quick and hot! And perfect and light, the material isn’t as brilliant as my last one but it’s not bad either. I really like it and yes it gets hot, but so does anything that blows heat at you! Great features like the cold setting, for th end of your hair to check if you’ve left anything wet! And fantastic for blow drying. I deffo recommend this product!

So glad I bought it
Absolutely brilliant. Easy to use, even if you don't read the instructions. Lovely long lead - the longest I've known any hairdryer to have. Feels really professional in your hands. My hair is quite flimsy, so dried within a minute, but I think it would dry thicker hair quickly, too. I am so glad I bought it, as there were s many to choose from, but I don't think you will ever go wrong with Remington.

Good value
This actually dries my hair better without the attachment. The diffuser isnt great, i put my universal one on it and get a much better curl from it. But the different speeds, turbo and cool settings are fab. Great value for money tbh. My £65 hairdryer burnt out within 12 months so im hoping this cheaper option will last longer than that.

Fries your hair
All the bad reviews of this hairdryer are true I'm afraid. I should have listened. It's powerful, but that's the only positive. It heats up too quickly. The coolest setting is too cold. The medium setting is already too hot. Dried my hair in seconds but turned my normally straight shiny hair into a fuzzy mass. Also it is quite heavy for the size.I bought this to replace my older Remington model but it's just not the same. I think it might be the worst hairdryer I've ever used. I normally prefer to say nothing rather than leave a bad review but it might help you decide. Give something else a try. 4.5 stars doesn't mean anything this time.

Well made!
Well designed and effective dryer. The only problem is I have is short arms! The diffuser on the dryer is a little long for me but I am adapting as the efficiency of the unit means it dries quickly. The dryer is not to heavy and I really like that the 'cold' button does not have to be held down.

Solid but lacks any sort of cohesive product design.
I bought this to replace a £4 hair dryer that I bought more than 5 years ago, I was expecting this to be impressive considering the price difference from my previous hairdryer, short answer - it wasn't.Build quality wise it's a solid product, but design wise there are some odd choices especially the switches which are pretty terrible and clearly designed for industrial use. Also the power settings are a little odd, you have an option of it being too weak or far too strong there doesn't seem to be that middle ground that would work well with the short hair that I have.I've had to actually start using the diffuser which makes the dryer huge and cumbersome, this thing weighs at least 5 times what my old dryer weighed and the handle is really badly shaped to balance the weight, I'm guessing no one tried it before they released it as it feels really horribly cumbersome to use.

Always buy Remington for the longer guarantee, last one died so this is my third( my hairdryer gets used every day!) love this hairdryer it’s really lightweight, dries my hair very quickly, and dries it without frizzing my hair.... have very curly hair with real tendency to frizz! Best hair dryer I’ve ever had and I have had a lot of hairdryers!
