Why I Bought It I upgraded to the Alpicool NL27 because I needed more storage than the 15L model could offer. At 27L, it’s still portable but has enough capacity for food and drinks for a couple of people on longer camping trips, road journeys, or weekends away in the camper. Setup / First Impressions The fridge arrived securely packaged with both 12V/24V DC and 100–240V AC leads. Build quality feels solid, and despite the larger size, it’s still manageable to carry. The digital controls are straightforward, and the unit cooled quickly on first use. The extra space is immediately noticeable — it easily fits bottles, meal containers, and snacks. Performance / Quality Performance has been excellent. The wide temperature range (-20℃ to 20℃) means it works equally well as a fridge or freezer, and it maintains the set temperature consistently even in hot weather. It runs quietly, so it doesn’t disturb when used overnight. Energy consumption is efficient, and I’ve had no issues running it from a car battery or mains power. Bought this as an additional fridge for my campervan, mainly to keep my beers chilled 😉. easy to set up and quick cooling time. Great to have the option of chilling or freezing. I haven’t tried as a freezer yet. The chill times are excellent and as like previous reviewed mentioned doesn’t seem to use too much of the leisure battery. The voltage protection does kick in when required. 12v and 240v excellent Device not too heavy will when full and not taking up a massive amount of space. I have used in the boot of the car for when on long drives and wanting to have chilled drinks or when buying chilled from the shops. It is very quiet, does have a slight hum when running but no different to my Dometic compressor fridge in the van. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase, and was bought for occasional usage but I am thinking of using as a chilling unit in my man cave!

Alpicool 27L Car Refrigerator. We had to get a fridge asap for our holidays. We chose this one as it was a good price and good reviews. Glad we got this one as it works really well, cools down quickly and maintains the set temperature. It comes on about every 15 minutes to maintain the set temperature. Well made and it is quiet. I've only given it a four as I've only had it a week. Better than I thought.

Bought this for a road trip to the South of France and it was fantastic Good capacity cools down very quick and works great on mains or battery We never had a day below 32c but the fridge maintained-20c all the time A really great purchase and the price was good and I think it will put far more expensive units to shame

Excellent fridge for Car, charged up at home night before travel, filled to the brim with food for journey and week away, when we stopped on journey left it plugged in car and it was fine. Arrived and food was kept cold and some of it frozen as we had it up to high! so efficient and noise was low.
