Alesis Nitro Amp 70W 3" Compact Electric Drum Monitor Speaker for Practice and Lessons, Rack-Mountable with Clamps Included

I’ve had this product for almost a year, haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve plugged instruments straight into it, and I’ve used a sound board. It works great with everything, and the Bluetooth feature is super useful and simple to use. Plugging a mic straight in tends to be a little quiet, but works fine if you run it through an audio interface. Makes for a great monitor, but can also be used as a loudspeaker when necessary. It has a nice carrying handle, and it can take a hit. 10/10 would recommend, and probably will buy again.

Amazing product with great sound Very valuable

I bought these recently to upgrade from my 2000w Alesis Strike amps that I purchased with my Strike Pro SE. I play professionally and have thoroughly enjoyed the original Alesis amps. The positives of these 2500w units are: the shape - the new monitor shape makes a huge difference in being able to face one up at me and one out at the audience. With the old units, I would have to wedge them somehow to get them facing at the right angle. Also, the Bluetooth connection is great to start break music from my phone without any wiring issues. Just be aware of which speaker you are connecting to. The blue light on the front is nice too. Tells me they're on without checking out back. The output feature is also nice. I can run signal out of the speakers and into mains if I need to without trying to figure out some Y connector rig up. Finally, on the plus side, the overall sound is an improvement. Definitely not as harsh in the mids and highs, and the low end is more solid. The negative: headroom is greatly reduced in these units. I had to reconfigure all of my output volumes to even get close to the 7.5 that I ran the old volumes at. These amps are definitely lower output volumes. I still have the 2000w units and have A/B'd them in my studio. No contest. The older units are louder. That's a big deal when you're trying to cut through the rest of your power trio. Before the first gig with these new units I almost thought I couldn't use them because of the volume issue. Overall, after dialing them in, most changes are positive. Rock on!

Item is well made and mounts to your Alesis rack easily. It's very compact and easy to pack. It's sufficient, not too powerful, though. That being said, this is best for personal use. Can play along with loud music in a room, not much more than that.

Sounds great. Lots of power.

This is a very good Speaker for a drum set

So I received an e drum kit for Christmas, just giving drums a try Bought this amp after reading other reviews and realized all the reviews they are showing for the 3 inch are actually for the eight inch. I have small computer speakers that sound good and are similarly priced, so thought this would at least sound ok. This speaker has such poor sound quality, I'm surprised they even offer it for sale. I will be returning it for sure. Buy a more expensive one BC this 3" is useless.

this is just what I was looking for, I mostly play with headphones but wanted a way to share what I was working on with other people, or if I want a break from the headphones. I had been using a bass amp, but it was bulky and didn't sound great unless you turn it up loud, I don't need a powerful speaker for playing with people, my kit is in my garage, and this is just a hobby. I am running Simmons Titan 70 drum module through the amp, I had to do some tuning to pull out some of the sounds just as you would with any amp, after a few min it sounds great.

Ottima cassa, compatta e potente. La ho comprata per una batteria elettronica Alesis Nitro Max e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto, e appena ho potuto ne ho acquistata una seconda, in modo da sfruttare al massimo le uscite audio della centralina. Queste casse possono essere montate direttamente sul rack e regolate in tutti i modi, a piacimento. Avendo anche il kit di espansione della Nitro Max, mi sono ritrovato con un certo affollamento sulla struttura portante della batteria, e ho pensato di installarle su supporti indipendenti. Molto buona la qualità del suono, fedele e senza distorsioni. Per suonare in casa sono l'ideale, anche perché hanno una potenza di 30 watt. Per me funzionano molto bene anche per altri strumenti elettronici, ad esempio una Roland FR-3s, e sono certamente una spesa di cui non ci si pentirà.

El sonido es perfecto, es muy compacto y facil a instalar.

Perfecta para la batería

Overall very happy with my purchase based on quality and value. Kick drum is bassy and snare and cymbals are crisp. You won't get headphone quality but for value to cost, it is a decent drum amp. I mainly use it for practice at home.
