Mypurmist 2 Ultrapure Handheld Personal Steam Inhaler (Plug-in), Vaporizer and Humidifier

I contracted the flu and I don’t know how it lasted for three weeks the cough would not go away. I went to use my old packed away purmist, and it quit working so I ordered another one and the temperature button went out so I wrote to purmist explained my problem they worked quickly to get an order in to replace it. I was able to use the purmist for three days and then those three days I went from 25 to 30 something coughs a day to five or six, and slept much better, because the pure mist thinned out the mucus, and it wasn’t dripping down my throat, causing me to cough so much. Thanks Jenifer!!Looking forward to my replacement purmist arriving. I never want to be without it ever. Customer service is five stars. Make sure you register it and if you have a problem, call customer service. Update:: recently, I caught the flu again & again the sinus and the cough lasted. Then I remembered my purmist, which now I keep aside by bed at all times in a basket. So again, I used it and it save me a trip to the emergency room. I used it three times a day for a few days, and all my symptoms disappeared. . Again, I never want to be without my Puremist . I also have added the essential oil packets. They help immensely if you’re having any sinus issues or you have the flu or a cough? Btw i buy mine straight from company plus subscribe for their water refill cylinders and essential oil packs. Worth every penny. Would absolutely again. Only have had it about a week. Has made a huge difference in how I sleep at night with hardly any coughing. I also bought the hands free strap...omg cannot believe how good it works. I'm texting this review while completing a treatment. The strap works great while your hands are free. Perfect gift for someone with sinus issues. They will thank you forever. I also have the menthol beads. Ohhh they smell so good. Menthol good. They work fine. Others have said to hard to push them. They are just a little stiff. Push a little harder or with your nail ?not pointy). The ones underneath the spout...just stick a spoon or butter knife in there and push down. Just some real thinking needed. Highly recommend!

This updated model is lighter in weight, gives option of warm to very warm (never overly hot like boiling water on a stove) and very quiet both when using and self-drying/cleaning. I bought one in 2018 and although it was wireless, it only had one level of hot steam and was very loud both using and self-drying/cleaning. This is the best method of clearing out my sinuses. No side-effects like burning or causing an increase of blood pressure. In my personal opinion, there are only 2 downsides: 1.) Cost! $$$ Way Over The Top! It really is an effective, safe product. And as much as I have tried, there is nothing on the market better AND self-drying/cleaning. I just think It’s completely over-priced. I kept this in my cart for quite awhile while I tried many other things and deciding what other items would be on hold so I could buy this and be within my budget. 2. ) It needs to be plugged-in so I need to pick a time I can sit near an outlet for 10-15 minutes but that’s not a big issue for me especially since it runs quiet. I can listen to I-tunes or books. Would I recommend it to family or friends? No, due to cost. I might, maybe (or not) mention it along with other products but wouldn’t want them to over-extend their credit cards.

I love this. I’ve had it a few years and it gets occasional use. It’s super useful to have on hand. I was cautious and waited 2 months to use it after sinus surgery, but now it’s helping to clean out my sinuses. It’s a lot more comfortable than sinus washes. It’s super relaxing. I like that the steam can be a little cooler than a “towel over head over bowl” method, it’s easy and convenient, not messy, and I can lie down with it. I’ve used it watching tv with my husband before and he says it’s not too loud, though it has a fan noise. Tip- Sometimes the fan doesn’t sound right, but when I gently knock it a bit it settles into place. mod 1- I pried open an aromatherapy pack, put a piece of flannel in there, and drop my own essential oils on it. My favorites are eucalyptus and tea tree oil. mod 2- After using distilled water (reusing the canister, sucking water up), it stopped working. I opened it up and took out a sensor on top. I joined the wires together and it's been working great since. That was a couple years ago. It still automatically shuts off when the water is low. Due to risk of shock and death, an electrician would have to do this mod.

I was excited to receive the Mypurmist because I have seasonal allergies and seem to be prone to bronchitis and sinus problems. However, the effectiveness of Mypurmist is definitely not what is shown in their videos, or as advertised. It DOESN’T produce any mist/vapor/steam. In fact, it produces nothing! It gurgles, makes bubbling noises, and has a pretty blue light, but that’s it! To the company’s credit, they were easy to communicate with, and they did send me a complete new replacement unit. Sadly, the replacement unit was just as ineffective as the first unit. No mist/vapor/steam. It’s a lot of money for no results. Don’t waste your money. There are no refunds on this product! You are just out $119.95 and you have a useless steam inhaler/vaporizer/humidifier. In my case, I now have two useless units. I gave it one star because that is the least you can give to submit a review. I would give it zero stars. Very disappointed.
