Solid build quality here, and super sharp out of the box. Time will tell on how well this holds an edge, but per many reviews here, this is a game changer. Especially if you are coming from cheaper “generic knife block set” knives. I got the chefs knife along with this cleaver and they both go through tomato’s like warm knives through butter. Slight sawing motion and it’s like going through air. Ultra thin see through cuts for the mega layered sandwich. It does pass the paper edge cut test brilliantly. The size, balance, and comfortable handle allow for fast accurate chopping of basically everything. Vegetables, beef, fish, right through that pineapple like nothing, all effortless. Lastly they look beautiful. I’ll check back with an updated review on how well they hold an edge and sharpen up after some mileage on them, but given the quality new, this bodes pretty well.

Excellent quality product, super sharp!

The first knife that arrived had a knick in the blade. I sent it back for a replacement. There was nothing wrong with the replacement knife. This Chinese clever, was purchased to replace another in my collection. I found that the knife I purchased is more of a rocking knife than a chopping knife. My current Chinese cleaver has an almost straight edge by comparison. I prefer the straight edge over the curved edge for a Chinese clear. I found the knife to be of good quality at a good price. I would say this thing is exciting to use. I cut duck with ease and duck has some hard bones and this cleaver sliced not cut through the skin like butter.

5 stelle. Il coltello è veramente ben fatto. molto affilato, bello, comodo e super funzionale. Ci taglio di tutto, dalle verdure al prosciutto (anche se ovviamente non è indicata questa forma per il prosciutto, ma essendo davvero tagliente ci sono riuscito senza particolari problemi) allo spezzare le carni. Consigliatissimo.
