Boom Stick Carrier of Choice — EDC Game = 🔥
I carry this pack every single day. The Vertx Everyday Tactical Fanny Pack 2.0 isn’t just a bag — it’s my go-to Boom Stick carrier and full EDC platform. Right out of the gate: build quality is rock solid. The 100% nylon feels tough but not bulky — perfect for daily carry without looking like you’re on a mission (even though you kind of are). The CCW-ready design is no joke. Rapid access tab? Snappy, smooth, and intuitive — pulls faster than your coffee on a Monday morning. Everything locks in place securely but stays accessible when you need it. Every compartment has a purpose — no junk space, just smart organization. I use it to carry my Boom Stick daily, along with phone, wallet, pocket tools, and snacks (priorities). It sits comfortably on my hip and doesn’t bounce or shift when I’m on the move — honestly some of the best ergonomics I’ve experienced in a pack this size. If you’re looking for a tactical-ready, everyday wearable pack that performs and looks good doing it, this is a winner. EDC: elevated. 🔥

Good size and discrete look
Good pack, fits a G19 well in it with a tenicor holster. The pockets are divided well and don’t get cramped easily. It comes with a big, tactical kind of pull tab on one of the zippers, I personally removed this. Not too hard to takeoff if you have dexterous fingers. The inside of the pack has that kind of fabric that takes Velcro well, so you can attach all sorts of things on the inside.

very handy and it blends right in
this is an essential for anyone that wants to carry in summer clothes, or if you're waiting for a custom holster. the strap keeps its shape and is comfortable to wear all day. the zippers are high-quality and the one for the gun compartment is nice and large, distinguishable from the other zippers, allowing for quick access to your firearm. there's also an adjustable velcro holster built in, and it covers the trigger. I've got a p365xl and I can fit it with 2 additional 12-round magazines and still not be obvious. I think that an XMacro could fit with an extra magazine and barely print through the bag. the pockets in the front compartment allow for a wallet, knife, small flashlight, eyedrops, lip balm...and mentos. ;) this is a really good bag and there are a bunch of these out there, so there are near-exact alternatives, but this one is worth starting with.

Best bag I’ve found but not perfect
I absolutely love this bag. I looked for weeks at different bags and this one seems to be the best in my opinion. It’s slim and holds just what I need. Fits my pew pew nicely with an extra mag. Ykk zippers makes confident the bag should hold up for years come. Some reviews said the buckle was bad and I through this would be something I would need to replace. I have no complaints. I was surprised to see it was duraflex brand which is a great brand. Only thing I changed on my bag was. I took the main compartment zippers off. Added one loop of 550 cord and a rubber washer. This is way better than how it came. Also I just have the one zipper on it so you don’t end up grabbing both when you draw. I like that it has two zippers because if one breaks the bag isn’t useless but having just one cord is way better. I would recommend they change the plastic tabs for something rubber. That red pull tab you can buy separately is so dumb. Not discrete at all. Especially a girl carrying it. Just isn’t fashionable and doesn’t blend into the other sling bags on the market. Thus making it stand out as suspicious. Love the bag! It’s allowed me to carry everyday with such easy and comfort. UPDATE: I removed the buckle it came with because multiple times I released the buckle by accident. Masking the bag fall off my person. This was a security risk for me so I replaced the buckle with a G hook. 1.5”. This was much more secure. Not only did I release it myself but I was concerned it would be extremely easy for someone to come behind me and remove the bag from my person. Definitely would recommend vertex replacing the buckle with something like this or just a better buckle. The current buckle just makes what is otherwise a great bag not acceptable for the application it was designed for. I also removed the vertex logo on the back. I through it was ugly and made the bag stand out from other Fanny packs. It just is another thing to make people question your bag. I want it to me as unremarkable as possible. I like the subtle logo on the front a lot. The one on the back is just too large and recognizable if the bag was off your person. I replaced it was stick on canvas. I would prefer the rubber grip that the logo had but without the logo. Just a rectangle the entire length of the bag would be so much better. In total I spend about $20 in upgrades which is kinda dumb but the bag actually works for me now. It would be a no brainer if it just was great out of the box. I’ve looked at replacing it because I would like something more factory a clean looking but still haven’t found anything that rivals the size and look of the bag. As well as the great pocket layout. Overall would recommend.

Great Concealed Carry Option
Quality materials and workmanship are immediately evident when you set-up this carry pack for your pistol. The size of the pack easily accommodates a snub-nose revolver with a two inch barrel or a compact semi-auto pistol with a three inch barrel. I bought loops that hold three speed loaders for the revolver and a sleeve to hold extra mags for the semi-auto pistol. I went with the Vertex Adjustable holster for both pistols. Smooth zippers and large pull-tabs make the pack functional and easy to use. I don't think I'll wear it swimming (lol) but the tight material should keep things dry while hiking and daily activities outdoors. Very glad I bought it.

It’s great
Great as a waist bag as intended but as a crossbody bag (where the bag is placed infront the chest) is not so great is you use extended mags because the bag does not fully open the mag catches on where the zipper ends and I only use 15 round mag, if used as a crossbody the way the pew is placed in a bag it’s hard to pull it out, but as a waist bag it’s perfect. It’s minimalist, light yet durable bag. The quality is there. Will be using this from now on hopefully it will last especially the stitches of the bag to the straps.

It’s OKAY
I really like wanted to love it, but it was just not for me. The large pull tab for quick draw basically did nothing. Even when pulling it with force, it was not enough to get the zippers open wide enough to draw. The zippers were kind of stiff? And it also sat awkwardly on my chest. I think having the straps slightly angled would go a long way. Otherwise it has a weird bend to it and it is kind of rough on your neck with long time wear. The included holster mount thing, was not very strong so I had a difficult time drawing without my holster moving all over and fumbling around, which is dangerous in it self. Size is okay if you don’t have anything added to your weapon. I carry a hellcat pro with an optic, and I felt like it was a tight squeeze with the holster in. It is very well made, and I like that it didn’t look like a CCW pack. Again, I really, REALLY wanted to love it, but I did not feel comfortable off-body carrying with this.

Excellent pack. Similar to but comfortably larger than the ubiquitous Lulu Lemon pack
This pack is great & exactly what I was hoping it would be; larger than the Lulu lemon pack my wife carries, but not so large that she would complain about it. It fits that role PERFECTLY. My wife was carrying a Lulu Lemon fanny pack & I was annoyed (she didnt care LOL) at how it needs to be just a hair larger in all directions; all her stuff felt so crammed in there, and she had zero room for any growth / expansion / extra stuff that sometimes comes up. I’ve also been begging / pleading / cajoling / nagging her to carry a pistol for self-defense, so this pack at least gives her that option + is a step in that direction, which makes me over the moon happy obviously. My wife is EXTREMELY finicky & stubborn about flat refusing to carry anything remotely tactical / EDC / etc.; again, despite my begs, pleas & commands. (Help me out here, men!) So I was very much preparing myself to return this bag. But…. We have a winner…! She likes it!!!! She was very pleased to discover that she can even fit her iPad mini in there too, AND all her other typical stuff; girl stuff, keys, phone, etc. I’m no longer annoyed that her bag seems so over-stuffed, and it STILL has room for more stuff! You know how it is; you have your pack / bag loaded with whatever typical stuff you have, but then you have a need to pop more stuff in there; whether to empty your pockets, hold stuff for kids, hold something you bought shopping; whatever. This bag carries all her normal, day-to-day stuff, and has plenty of spare room. Typical VERTX quality, which is superior, of course, it looks similar to (in a positive way) to that Lulu lemon that EVERYONE seems to have today. Esp. For women, this is a huge positive attribute, Because the whole point is to blend in, NOT stand out, be low-key; the Grey Woman, as it were. We DON’T want people noticing this pack…until it’s too late….for them…. Also, please do not misunderstand me; The Lulu Lemon pack, BTW, is a beautiful pack. Very high quality, impressive materials, solid construction; really top-notch, actually. It’s just TINY. For some situations, obviously it would be perfect, but there’s pretty much zero ability to conceal carry with that thing. It’s not intended for that, of course, but still…. If Lulu made that exact fanny pack but a few inches larger in every direction + with some Velcro panels; I’d buy one! LOL. Anyway, this VERTX fanny pack is a big winner with my extremely anti-EDC, anti-tactical wife. She doesn’t hate guns / knives / gear; she just refuses to dress / wear anything tactical at all… I’m considering buying one of these for when I want a pack smaller & less conspicuous than the larger VERTX SOCP - which I love, but man… it’s BEEFY….. Well done, VERTX.
