How to be a Redhead Finally Have Lashes Enhancing Mascara (Brown)

This mascara lives up to the hype! Looks natural and gets the lashes coated evenly. Comes off only when you TAKE IT OFF!

I want to start off by saying that I do indeed like this product. However, I think it could use some improvement in some areas. The formula is indeed sticky, and it dissolves quickly with added moisture. Which is fine when you’re washing your face at night, but not ideal when you’re sweating and it gets into your eyes and stings. Love the color of this formula and the applicator is great. I ended up buying this product because it was the only redhead mascara without acrylates in it. The last thing I wanted to mention, which has nothing to do with the quality of the product, is that I absolutely hate the name. Maybe I’m being too sensitive, but I was actually deterred from purchasing this product for a long time because I found the name a little demeaning. “Finally have lashes” … idk it just rubs me the wrong way lol.

Just beautiful.I have eyes that are very sensitive and this mascara hasn’t bothered them at all. Doesn’t flake or run. Stays on till I wash it off. Hard to find a true redhead color and I love it for daily wear. This pic is taken outside in natural light at an angle, so you can see what it looks like.

I actually love this mascara. This is the first brown mascara I have ever purchased. I have red hair with blond lashes and brows. I wanted a mascara that gave me a bit of pop when I color in my brows. This does the job without being as harsh as a black would be. I definitely feel like the brown tone compliments my coloring.

First impressions- terrible wand, great color! Build-ability 1/5 you have to let it completely dry before adding a second coat but It does take a while to dry Lengthening 5/5 works well! Volume 2/5 in order to achieve that voluminous look you have to add a second or even third coat but in my opinion it wasn't very buildable. I noticed after letting the first coat dry and combing through my lashes there was a lot of flaking The wand isn't great, lots of clumping. You have to comb through your lashes while the mascara is wet to get rid of clumping. If you let it dry out completely it will tug at your lashes and possibly pull them out. I have very sensitive eyes and my eyes were a bit watery and itchy all day (could perhaps be the changing seasons and not the mascara hard to say) Mascara is easy to remove with micellar water and I think it is waterproof which is nice. I didn't have any flaking through out the day.

I really tried to like this mascara. I absolutely loved the idea of a mascara made specifically for redheads and I was super excited to try it, but the formula is awful. Not buildable at all, really hard to get any volume whatsoever, and I feel like it makes my lashes look thinner and sparser than when i don’t wear mascara at all. Great at achieving length and a BEAUTIFUL color, but everything else was just really disappointing. Also, it’s pretty sticky even after fully drying and if you like to do top and bottom lash mascara like I do, you will constantly have to separate your lashes after blinking, which is really frustrating. Great idea and great company, but this mascara is just not it for me :(

I adore the colors of this mascara; I have both the auburn and chestnut. But I do agree, it is sticky, auburn worse than the chestnut. However I love the color so much that it’s still my preferred mascara anyways. Even my husband has told me how pretty both colors are. I don’t have to reapply throughout the day (it even survived all day in a tornado warning with pouring rain at Universal Orlando). It doesn’t irritate my skin/eyes, and I have been wearing couple months now. Do wish they would fix the sticky though, still my only con.

This is a great color for a more "natural" look for us redheads who have extremely blonde eyelashes. The wand is firm and the product goes on smoothly. The only qualm I have is that for $30/tube the tube is slightly smaller than your average mascara tube and doesn't seem like there is a lot of product in there...so we'll see how long it lasts.
