As we're headed into winter, I knew that dry skin was in my future, so I went ahead and ordered this oil even though I'm not a huge fan of vanilla scented body products. To my surprise, this really doesn't smell like vanilla at all (so if that's what you're after, keep looking). When I first used this oil, the immediate scent hit my nose kind of funny - I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. But that smell quickly dissipated into a warm, slightly sweet, kind of citrusy/powdery scent that's difficult to describe. Whether one likes a particular scent is subjective, but for me, it's a hit (and I generally gravitate towards warm, woodsy, earthy scent profiles). Apparently it's a hit for my teenage son as well, because when I'm wearing it, he always asks me why I smell so good! The scent lasts a really long time, too. The oil takes about twenty minutes to absorb into the skin. It's not very thick, so a good amount (like half a handful) comes out with each pump. I use it after every shower, and my skin is much happier for it already. I love the scent of this oil so much that, even though my first bottle is still more than half full, I've ordered a back-up bottle so that I will have enough to take me through winter if this oil becomes unavailable for some reason. As long as this oil is around, I will keep purchasing it!

I have extra dry legs and this helps alot after a shower. Smells great.

If you’re looking for an actual vanilla scented oil this is not it. It has a very strong masculine scent. Doesn’t smell anything like vanilla. And it dries up very quick. This item was too pricey to not do what it says or smell right.

For anyone who is looking for a vanilla smelling oil this is NOT it. The product lasts longer than I expected. The pump allows me to not take more than needed when I apply it to my skin. Absorbs into my skin really fast. Not sticky or thick. Overall value i give it about a 3/5. The smell of the oil does not last very long and the pump is starting to get a little weird, doesn't put out a full pump, even though I have 1/4 of the bottle left. I use this oil after showering and putting lotion on and sometimes after washing my hands.

Feels great, smells terrible. This smells more like a pine tree than vanilla.

I am both after using this body oil. This is not a moisturizer, so don't expect the same results. I used a hot towel to wipe down post application. The remaining oil absorbed easily, leaving my skin soft and soothed. As massage oil I couldn't ask for more. The scent is a soft sweet vanilla, not candy, more floral. ETA: grapefruit gives me "get through the morning" vibes without ingesting a gallon of caffeine. The soft but bubbly grapefruit scent energizes me and lifts my moods. A boost on cloudy days this winter Months later.... I am waiting for more blends to drop.
