Does not work for hair dryer
Bought this to charge phones and power a US 110v hair dryer in Italy. The adapter works fine for small things like phones, but it could not power a 1300w hair dryer. Its just buzzed and then tripped the hair dryers breaker on the plug. And I was using the correct "2kw" plug on the Bestek.

Didn’t work as expected
I liked that you could plug in multiple items at a time and that it had usb c side chargers. I bought a travel steam iron and it immediately shorted out when plugged in and turned on. I ended up having to throw the steamer away. Very disappointed. My daughters straightener would get warm but not as hot as she’s used to.

Does not work as advertised. Was fine for small digital devices only.
2000W side did not support a blowdryer as stated. Was used in the UK and burned up the blowdryer we plugged into it.

Very Defective product
This product was defective I could not test it till it got Western Samoa for the first 3 weeks I used another converter I also got from Amazon and it worked fine but my wife was using it and I had not used this one yet, so it decided to use it. The 1st one worked fine figured this one would to. and the first thing I plugged into it burned it out unfortunately it was my Milwaukee fast charger I was no longer able to use my charger for the rest of my trip there really messed me up bad. I was there for 1month and 1/2 not able to contact them from where I was at, until I got back and I can't return it and the seller will not return my calls. don't buy this product it will destroy your things. Not happy at all with this seller. only good thing I can say was it was on time, and looks as described, but burns up your stuff. lot of good that is. I don't normally give bad reviews because they wont return my calls I will make an exception. If I were you I would think twice before getting this product.

The best is Bestek
Bestek really is the best, and now I give this as a gift to my friends when I hear they're going to travel to Europe for their first time. You need a voltage converter, and NOT just an adapter for the shape of your electronic plugs. This converter is reliable and brings down the voltage from European volts to American electronics, like your recharging portable battery. Careful not to use big power drawing items on this, though! It's hard to find a converter that can handle an American hair dryer (but your curling or flat iron is fine) so it's better to use the hotel hair dryer or buy a local one.

Dangerous!!
Really bad product!!!! Do not buy!!I connected the converter from 220v AC wall outlet plug to my Ninja waffle maker (1000W which is under the max spec of the converter - 2000W). Of course, I used the 2kW outlet. After two minutes the Ninja made an explosive sound and burned! Please be careful from ordering this converter!

Turn 1 Outlet Into 5... At The Correct Voltage
While it's not always necessary to travel with a voltage converter, it can definitely help you avoid some headaches even while using devices that have international / universal power supplies.A voltage converter like this is, in fact, necessary whenever you're using a device that has a power supply with a voltage input range that does not match the voltage coming out of the wall wherever you are. The most common examples of such devices would be hair dryer, curling iron, or electric shaver. You might have a hair dryer that accepts only a voltage of 120V. If you travel to a European country where the voltage coming out of the wall is 240V then utilizing only a plug adapter to plug your hair dryer into the wall outlet is not sufficient. A simple plug adapter would get your hair dryer power cord into the wall outlet, but then you'd learn a very fiery and dangerous lesson as your hair dryer caches fire and fills your room with smoke. In this case of your American hair dryer in Europe, you would need this voltage converter. Plug the voltage converter into the wall outlet and then plug the hair dryer into the voltage converter and you're good to go. No fire. No smoke. Most devices other than the three I mentioned come with universal power supplies that accept a voltage anywhere between 100V and 240V. Laptop computers, cell phones, tablets, CPAP machines, etc. all come, generally speaking, with universal power supplies that work anywhere between 100V and 240V. Only a simple plug adapter is required to fit those power cords into a wall outlet wherever you happen to be in the world. The power supply for each of those devices is the voltage converter, and further conversion is not required. However, even though a separate voltage converter is NOT REQUIRED for your laptop, it can help protect that laptop, sort of like a surge protector. Specifically, it can help protect the POWER SUPPPLY of the laptop. Imagine the scenario in which 240V is coming out of the wall outlet. Your laptop power supply can totally handle that. But then imagine there's a surge, and the voltage goes higher than 240V for whatever reason. Boom! Your laptop power supply (which is the big brick that's part of your laptop power cord) is toast. Your laptop is still probably just fine, but your cord and brick are ruined and won't be useful any longer. You might think surges are uncommon, and you're right. On dry land surges are uncommon in most parts of the world, but they do happen for various reasons and you never know when they'll happen. On cruise ships, device-wrecking power surges are more common. This reality means that a voltage converter is a very convenient and inexpensive insurance policy. This particular voltage converter is really good. It's compact and lightweight. It comes with plug adapters that allow it to be plugged in throughout the world. A huge benefit of this converter is that it supports powering / charging of five devices at once - turning a single power outlet into five different outlets - with two USB C, one USB A and two 120V wall-style outlets, with one of those 120V outlets supporting 200W lower-power devices, and the other supporting 2000W higher-power devices (and with a warning not to use that 2000W outlet for lower-power devices). It's a great little travel-friendly kit. If you can pack an extra pound of stuff in your suitcase during your travels around the world, and if you'll need to be plugging devices into wall outlets, I'd highly recommend this converter.
