After reading the reviews for the Amazon Basic pen I added these cartridges to my cart for when the cartridges that came with the pen ran out (and they ran out quickly). I can confirm they fit the pen perfectly and the ink quality is so much better than the Amazon ones, it’s dark, doesn’t bleed, and I don’t have to hold the pen tip down for five minutes for the ink to run. Only downside is that it does smudge a bit so I don’t recommend placing your hand on your page over the writing for support since the ink dries a bit slow and it will stain your skin (the stain will go away with a couple of hand washes). Overall a great choice and I will be rebuying once I run out.

So far the first cartridge I used fit my Amazon Basics pen perfectly. Hopefully as I start using this all I won't have any issues with the cartridges. If so, will add a follow up review.

The cartridges do fit in the Amazon Basics Fountain pen, and they seem to me to be the same size as the refills that came with that pen. If you only push them in a bit, the fit is loose, they're basically stuck on to the part that pierces the cartridge, and it doesn't inspire much confidence. This will cause poor performance.PUSH the refill FIRMLY onto the piercing portion inside the nib, further than you think it should go.You should hear/feel a FIRM click when the cartridge is pierced.If you do this, the cartridge will start writing in a minute or two, and the ink will flow correctly.Once started they write with a bold, thick line, despite my pen having a fine nib.These work well enough if you make sure to load them correctly.

No problems, I use them in my fountain pen.

I have Big Idea Designs fountain pen that takes short cartridges. These do fit, but the cartridge itself does not hold in the pen like others do. Whether it's just a tad too small or it's just not for my pen, I don't know. All I know is I'm not ordering these again.

The ink applies well, dries quickly, and the cartridges are easy to install.

Some of them were sort of broken or expanded from the front opening rendering them unusable because they would not snap into place. I say “most were fine” because that’s technically true but more were broken than I would have liked.
