This is a good budget flight cage for parakeets. I needed a spare cage as my 8 year old parakeets lost his lifetime friend and unfortunately his new companion is young, super needy and is too playful for my old laid back bird who can't keep up with his energetic pace, he needed somewhere to have some peace and quiet! After looking at the measurements it was exactly the same size as my existing cage, so I decided to double storey the cages rather than divide my cage. This cage sits on top. There is ample space to house two parakeets with room to stretch their wings. Seed bowls included although they can only be placed on the hatches near the cage floor, although it isn't an ideal place for my parakeets. 2 wooden perches and a seed undertray is included.

Yes its quite big and comfy for my couple parrotlets, we did struggle with fitting the pieces as they are bent.

Easy to do and a good fit when putting it together. Some say they had to put plastic binders on to get a good fit when putting this cage together. Well, not us. It did take two people, as one person holds it together, while the other person fits the brackets together. We found that it needs a man to squeeze the fittings together with pliers, as the wire is pretty durable. Once done, there was no gaps for birds to get stuck in, as everything lined up perfectly. The drawer at the bottom does not pull out too smoothly, however, as it is big. Be sure to order bigger paper for the bottom of the cage, as paper towels will not be enough. It would take about 8 of them! It’s a nice, big cage! I think four parakeets could fit nicely in it with a lot of accessories even. Glad I got it for my two!
