Turn your iPad Pro into a multifunctional laptop with this. I bought my first one for a 2018 iPad Pro, a second with my 2020 iPad Pro, and a third one for the device I am currently writing this review on. I used each until the letters and numbers wore off the keys. I own a powerful Mac desktop and an iPad Pro instead of owning a laptop because this low-cost, highly functional piece of hardware allows me to have all the great stuff in owning an iPad Pro without losing the good things about owning a MacBook. The part of the case where you snap in the iPad is well built and pivots, allowing you to make it into a drawing tablet, note taker, presentation device, traditional laptop with full keys and trackpad, personal TV, and with an Apple Pencil (purchased separately) that you can also use as a mouse, art stylus, and, well, lots of things, you suddenly find yourself wondering why more people don’t use iPads with one of these cases. I can’t see me using a MacBook when I can have this and pair it up with a good Mac desktop, and trust me, iPad Pros are a Mac’s best friend.This keyboard case gives your iPad Pro the wings it needs to set it free. This case has all the features you could want and is so inexpensive that it, to me, makes owning an iPad Pro a no-brainer. Its the most used (and loved) of all my computing devices.

I was on the fence between four and five stars, but ultimately I deducted a star for the mouse/trackpad. Everything else about this is fantastic, however, and I'm super happy with my purchase.For the price, this really cannot be beat. It is sturdy, functional, charge lasts a long time, keyboard is great. I use this daily, and no issues. And I mean i flip the screen around, take the iPad in and out of the case at least once a day, and it still holds it fine. There are a few things that people have mentioned in other reviews I'd like to address:Tabs that hold the iPad in. I was worried because in other reviews, it was noted that the tabs are minimal (true, but it does not take much to hold the ipad in), and that they come loose easily, and rotate themselves, and the thus the ipad can fall out. #1 - I have and angled drawing board built for the ipad that i use for drawing DAILY. This means i'm flipping those tabs and removing the ipad at least once a day. Been doing this for several months and not a hint of looseness on the tabs (my personal experience). Further, you still have to pop the ipad out even when the tabs are open, so I don't really think the ipad would "fall out" right away. MAYBE if you had the tabs open and were being careless, it could happen. But it definitely wouldn't just slip out without some kind a maneuver.Weight. This is a legit concern. I'd say it doubles, or slightly more than doubles the weight (without actually weighing). Not an issue for me. I actually find the extra heft preferable. But if that is a concern for you, there you go.Looseness of the folding mechanism. Again, I open and close this thing many times a day, and flip it around to use w/o the keybaord many times a day. This has been over a period of several months, and it is still as sturdy as new.Mouse. This is my one crit. The track pad is basically useless. This is because you cannot just tap to make a selection, you have to push it down to click. Makes doing mouse activities like dragging, etc. a real pain. Personally, I'm not fond even of good track pads, so i just make use of the touch screen, or an external mouse. So, it isn't really and issue for me, but it feels really clunkily executed. Frankly, though, for the price, they could have left it off entirely and I'd b happy.So there you have it. Really good case/keyboard option - if you can look past the mouse. Definitely great product for what you pay!

This is the best iPad keyboard/case that I’ve found. I use it hours a day and it’s been very reliable until about 9-months in when a couple of keys stopped working. I contacted customer service about the problem and because it was within the 12-month warranty they immediately sent me a replacement. I’m very happy with the product and their great customer service, and I highly recommend.

Too light weight for the laptop. When the laptop is used as a monitor it tilts the keyboard to fall backwards. The weight doesn’t equally distributed on both sided to work effective.the quality is cheaply made. I’m would suggest they make the keyboard more heavier or at least weighty to offset. The

Like the title says, it’s prefect and does exactly what you want it to do.Pros:- Backlit keyboard is bright enough to see keys and functions, not bright enough to be distracting and comes in multiple colors you can change. Also different flashing or glowing patterns.- So many functions might be overwhelming but they are there and work if you need them, once you learn them you may not ever have to touch the screen again while using it.- Straight out the box the product feels flimsy but once attached to the iPad this feels like a true laptop.- The device can be charged using a normal C Charger. THE DEVICE AND THE IPAD MUST BE CHARGED USING SEPARATE CABLES.Con’s:- When opened to more than 130-ish degrees the device just flops over. Using beyond this angle seems inappropriate but it just shows that the iPad is heavier than the base.- The iPad doesn’t snap into the holder instead the design is there are clips you rotate to hold it in. If these ever break the iPad will just fall out of the device is closed more that 80 degrees.Final Thoughts:For the money this is way better and cheaper than buying and using the Apple designed version. If I ever needed to, I would buy this one again no question.
