This is an amazing microscope. It works amazing, view is so clear and has all the attachments and accessories you will need. I have always loved looking at stuff under a microscope and this one is super cool. The zoom and magnification is great. My kids absolutely love using it and have been interested in collecting items to look at unfer the scope other than school work. They especially like how well you can examine all the normal things and see just how they look under the big scope. We all have learned and loved using this scope and it is way better than any other I have used before. I am very pleased and my kids love it. Also very happy that they like looking at discovering things like I did and have this love to learn more about not only nature but also things like insects and organisms that can be put in the slides that come with the kit. You will be amazed at how much is included in this kit for such a great deal of price. And the view will definitely show you just how great of a deal you get also. I guarantee you will be just as happy with it as we are and your kids will be asking to go look and find stuff to examine under the lens after one try. I am still learning myself along with the kids on some of the stuff they have wanted to check out. Definitely a great teaching product and very much a fun product to have for all of the family.

Really nice microscope for home education! I bought this for my son so we can talk about germs, cells and other things that we can’t see and he loves it! The microscope is easy to use and bright and clear enough to see what we looking for. It’s not heavy like what we had at college which is easy for kids to move it around. The size is just right for kids to observe but definitely not small for adults. Very functional for education and even having fun with your little ones. Plus, it’s a great deal!

Microscope works very well! I bought it for my highschool homeschool students and we are very happy with it. A few things to note: it does NOT come with a storage bag as mentioned in the description. That was the main reason I purchased this one over another. Also, needs to be used near an outlet to plug in. Overall, the microscope seems sturdy and well made, just wish it also had a storage/carrying bag.

We purchased this microscope for the kids for Christmas and they are having a great time looking at things under the microscope. The kit came with some pre-prepared slides so they were able to get into the action right away. The microscope is easy to use and comes with some nice features including different lights from various angles, an adjustable diaphragm to further control the light, and a set of different magnification turrets. The previous microscope the kids had was a plastic version that didn't have many features which made looking at things a lot more difficult. The kids were able to the sample slides and then started finding things around the house (their hair, leaves, sand, etc) to investigate under magnification. The color instruction booklet that came with the microscope made learning about the device a pleasurable and engaging experience. The phone holder didn't come with any instructions and took some trial and error to figure out. Through the phone camera, it kind of works but the real magic is when seeing it with their own eyes. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and hope to get many hours of science fun from this inexpensive microscope.

Update: the seller has great customer service and was receptive to feedback and reached out to me regarding my disappointment with the original product. They report they are taking feedback and updating the product to make it more satisfactory. Great customer service! It's fine. Instructions are obviously written by someone that knows ESL, bad spelling and word usage but shocker since it's likely made in China. As for the microscope itself it's fine... it microscopes. Biggest downside is that the stage only moves up and down. I don't know that I've ever used a microscope that doesn't have a knob to move horizontally as well, makes it much harder to locate your specimen... The instructions are also not super clear on how to use all the pieces and the phone camera mount is useless unless you have the world's tiniest phone. I have a Google pixel and that thing doesn't even come close to fitting my phone. And the Bluetooth camera thing is neat but seems kinda random since I can just hit the capture button on my phone just fine but... Ok. Doesn't really impact the use of the microscope especially since the phone mount doesn't work...overall it's fine, I got it on a great sale so I feel better about that but definitely would have opted for a microscope that moves the stage horizontally...

I am a hobbyist who enjoys analyzing everything from pond water to plant pollen. It works as advertised and has provided me with hours of pleasure without fail.

I bought this for kids to play around, so i don't expect much from it and it works well for the purpose. Its easy to Setup and pictures quality is acceptable. And Its good looking with White color.

This has turned into a fun and exciting new device in our house! I first bought it for my husband who was exploring different rocks and wanted a closer look at them and then it’s been used for homeschool time with our kids to even us taking it to try out with the other kids at our homeschool group! The quality of this is nicely built. Easy to set up and travel with. I like the different attachments it comes with and different slides we can use. It’s great to use to get a close up view of so many things and so much fun to use to explore the world some more!

I was surprised at the high quality of this microscope and all the smooth and sturdy moving parts. The magnification is powerful and clear, and the LED lighting and color wheels are great for clarity. The included slides with labeled samples was a great way to get started immediately. The phone accessories are a nice touch, and it was easy to use my phone to properly focus and take photos through the microscope. This seems powerful enough for serious observation and fine tuning, but easy enough for my 7 year old to easily get started and use with minimal help.

This is a truly super cool gift and very impressive microscope. It is very easy to operate and mostly metal. It needs to be plugged in for illumination of the specimen slides. Read the manual and within 5 minutes ull be an expert. It really does show 200, to 2000x and in shark vivid focus. The phone mount works great amd alows you to take pictures of the eyepiece . You also get specimens cases with samples like onion apple wood fly leg and some empty ones for your own specimen. You may consider buying some iodine for your own samples. But I am certain all children above 5 will love this as a gift and will be more Interested in science .
