All-rounder Earbuds for Students – Great Sound & Features! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am a Computer Science student, and after using the boAt Airdopes 800 for a few days, I can confidently say it’s one of the best in this segment. Based on the specific features, here is my detailed feedback: Music Quality: The inclusion of Dolby Audio makes the music quality outstanding. The sound is immersive, and the bass is punchy without being overwhelming. Call Quality: The call quality is very clear. Even in slightly noisy environments, the person on the other end could hear me clearly during my online lectures and calls. Portability: The charging case is sleek and lightweight, making its portability top-notch. It easily fits in my pocket while traveling to college. Compatibility: I had no issues with compatibility. It pairs instantly with my Android phone and also works perfectly with my i3-7100 PC via my Bluetooth dongle. Softness & Comfort: The ear tips have a nice softness to them, making them comfortable for long hours of study or coding sessions. Functionality: The overall functionality is very smooth. The physical button on the case and the touch controls on the buds are responsive and easy to use. Final Verdict: If you want a balance of performance and comfort, this is the perfect choice!

Boat 800
I am writing this review after using 1 month . Ear buds case size is little bit bigger as I expected but build quality and finishing is good . Now main thing sound quality and battery backup, sound quality is really good as I expected I was already using boat earbuds so I know which kind of sound quality they provide. noise cancellation is also working good .but I think feature of Dolby audio not impress me. Battery performance is also good . overall good product you can go for it...I have written this this review after getting a call from boat...😂 But this is my genuine review....

My opinion in one year
The sound quality is good. The earbuds’ build quality is okay, but the case build quality is very poor. The battery life is also okay. Overall, these earbuds are average, and I think their lifespan will be quite short. They may be a good choice if you replace your earbuds every year.

Decent sound, but not for small ears and average mic
Rating: ⭐⭐☆ (3/5) Using these earbuds for some time, here’s an honest review: • Sound quality (3.5/5): Overall sound is average. Bass is on the higher side, which sometimes overpowers the mids and highs, so you do not get that crisp, detailed sound. Vocals and instruments could have been clearer. Noise cancellation is good if sound is high. You will feel great if base lover. • Fit for small ears – big problem: If you have small ears, please think twice. The nozzle/opening is quite broad and even with the smallest ear tip, it does not fit properly. Because of this loose fit, the earbuds keep coming out, which is very uncomfortable for long use. • Connection behavior: There is another practical issue. If even one earbud accidentally pops out, it sometimes disconnects calls/meetings or pauses the music automatically, even when it is unintentional. This breaks the flow during important calls and is very irritating. Functionality & connectivity: Overall functionality is good – touch/controls work as expected and basic features are reliable. Bluetooth connectivity is also good and stable, with quick pairing • Mic quality (below average): Mic is not sharp or crisp. The sound is hard and bass‑heavy, so the person on the other side struggles to understand you, especially if you speak softly. This happens even in a relatively quiet, noise‑friendly environment. Verdict: • Good only if you like extra bass and have normal/bigger ears. • Not recommended if you have small ears or if you need clear mic quality for professional calls/meetings.

Superior sound quality paired with sub par battery
Build and Design: The overall material quality is commendable and feels durable for daily use. However, the charging case is notably bulky, which may be a drawback for those seeking maximum portability. While the aesthetics are "ok," the build serves its purpose well enough. Audio & Microphone Performance: The sound quality is undoubtedly the highlight of this product. The inclusion of Dolby Audio combined with Adaptive EQ delivers a rich, immersive experience. Even at low to mid-volume, the bass remains punchy and well-defined. The microphone quality is reliable for calls, further aided by effective Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), though there is still minor room for improvement in voice clarity. User Interface: The touch controls are impressively responsive and—more importantly—programmable, allowing for a customized user experience that many competitors in this segment lack. The Battery "Dealbreaker": The primary issue lies in the power management. While the marketing claims 40 hours of total playtime, real-world usage tops out at approximately 25 hours. Normal Mode: Expect 5–6 hours at 60-70% volume. Dolby Mode: Playtime drops significantly to an average of 4 hours, which is inadequate for long-form content like movies or binge-watching series. Charging Case: The case efficiency is disappointing. A full charge of the buds consumes 40% of the case's power, meaning you only get about two full recharges before the case is depleted. Value Proposition: Having transitioned from a Realme TechLife unit used for four years, I find this a side-step in terms of battery but an upgrade in sound. At the sale price of ₹1,100, this is a "steal" despite the flaws. However, if you are looking at the standard retail price of ₹1,799, I cannot recommend these over competitors that offer significantly better battery endurance. Verdict: Great for audiophiles on a budget; frustrating for heavy users who hate frequent charging.
