Great Filter Expectations Met - 1st Time User
I would say that I am very happy with my 1st use of this filter, using a dslr with a cine lens.I'm sure it only gets better from here. This filter worked exactly as I wanted it to.

Pretty Cool
This is definitely a specialty filter. I don't expect to win any awards with it, but it's fun and well worth the money. If you're just looking for something to experiment with and expand your creativity then I would say to go ahead and get it as the price of entry is reasonable.It is really heavy which is to be expected with the design, but just something to be aware of.I do wish it had a more blurred or bokeh-y transition. It's really sharp/defined, and in my opinion, detracts from the image. I do need to experiment with it and use its "weakness" to my advantage.
