Large Wooden Kids Sandbox with Lid – Outdoor Sand Box for Kids with Cover Sand Protection, Foldable Bench Seats and Bottom Liner

This was the perfect gift for my 4 year old grandson, he loves to be outside and play in the dirt, I figured a sandbox will be the perfect Birthday present. I loved the size of it, and the seats that fold up to become a protective top when not in use. This is plenty big for several kiddos to play in. It does take 9 fifty pound bags of sand to fill, but it's going to give hours and years of fun to the lucky kid who owns it. My daughter said it was easy to set up, seems very durable and I think it was a fantastic value for the money. A good return on investment. Mission accomplished.

I bought this for my nephew for his birthday and he loves it! They filled it with pea gravel and he drives his dump trucks around in it. It’s great that the seats fold down to close to keep animals out. It is a great quality & easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend the value for your money.

We really like this sandbox. Took my husband about half an hour to bring it up from the basement, unbox it, and get it assembled. Has the lovely cedar smell. It does not have a solid bottom - comes with something similar to yard fabric that you can either just put underneath or you can staple to the bottom. We needed something that was permeable to keep the sand from slipping out but let water pass through - our kid will almost certainly try to combine her water table and sandbox into one toy. Lid keeps out the local cats (which was the issue with our first sandbox that had a roof but no lid), but it won't keep out rain, so we did buy a separate cover for that.My one complaint, the only thing that was kind of a bummer (and will will easily add it ourselves) was that the lid does not have a lock or some other way to hold it shut. When we lifted it up to stable the fabric to the bottom the lids flapped open and it was a bit of a hassle. would have loved a little gate latch or something similar to hold the doors shut. Best recommendation is to assemble in place and put the fabric on (if that is how you are going to use it) before putting the top on.Otherwise, it's a hit!

Fairly easy to assemble. Five and two yr-old grand are thrilled. Easy to close, seats seem solid. Wood is very smooth

Wonderful and sturdy. My only complaint is no wooden bottom but it does come with the fabric bottom. The top slots are not water tight but will definitely keep a majority of moisture out. We filled with (8) 50lb bags of play sand from Ace, the bags were 6-7$ each.

This sand box is ok. The pieces for the top didn’t line up where they were supposed to go so we had to modify it in order for the lid to close properly. The wood is also very flimsy and an odd size so when a board broke on our 2nd day we had a very hard time finding a replacement board that fit.

This sandbox has been where my two boys live during the day! We love that the cover is easy to fold down and the convenience of how it turns into two little benches for seating! The assembly was pretty easy and the wood seems to be very durable.

I would not pay $100 for this. The wood is super cheap and a bunch of the pieces came already split. The screws keep splitting the wood and it doesn’t seem like it’s treated well enough to withstand weather. We are returning this.
