Very good product from Pilot, like always
Pilot pretty much does not miss with their gel ball pens, as they're often seen as one of the best roller ball pen brands ever. This new "purples" pack is no different, and all of the pens are made in Japan like everything else I've ever purchased from the Pilot G2 line. The colors are quite vibrant, particularly in the lighter purple colors. I did a quick "color-in" on a piece of an instruction manual that I had lying around (I'm no artist by any means) just to demonstrate a few of the colors. The lilac-esque light purple-pink color in particular is flawlessly smooth and is really beautiful in-person.The other colors all performed admirably as well. I just didn't spend as much time coloring them in as with the lilac color. If you look at where the headphone jack would be on the diagram, you can see some of the metallic purple color there. This color is very interesting, because it goes from a shimmery purple to sort of a metallic grey based on from what angle you view it. On the paper, it looks more how you would expect paint to look instead of something that came from a gel pen. Very good quality kit from Pilot. Like I said, I'm not much of an artist, but I will enjoy using these vivid colors to make notes and other such necessities.

Pilot G2s but purple
I assume everyone has used a pilot G2 before. They are one of my favorite pens because of how smooth they write. I usually prefer a 0.5mm, but these are also good. A few of them felt a little less smooth at first, but I think that's because they were out in the cold for a while. Highly recommend these if you want some more fun shades of pens or as a gift for someone who likes Pilot G2s. Could be great for grading/ revising/ etc for students or teachers.

Made in Japan quality, best gel pens around
Pilot has long been on my short list of the very best gel pens that money can buy. There are a handful of Japanese pen brands, including Pilot and Uni-Ball, who continue to manufacture out of Japan even though it'd probably be much cheaper for them to outsource to other countries. The Amazon reviews on their typical G2 pens speak for themselves. You'll see listings with over 30,000 reviews averaging 4.8 out of 5. Having used them for years, I can confirm that short of an expensive pen like Montblanc or Waterman, these are the best gel pens you can buy. They dry quickly, they produce clear and precise lines, and they have very consistent ink flow with no skips. Like all rollerball pens, they can smudge if you quickly run your hand over it, but these pens definitely smudge less than others I've tried.I've purchased many Pilot G2 pens before, but I was pretty happy to see that they're coming out with these "Boost" packs. While I usually use G2 pens for my standard work at the office, I love that they're extending their line for more artistic uses (I wish I could have sketched you a beautiful rendition of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" with these, but sadly, the picture I uploaded is the best you're going to get). The one slight gripe I have is that not all the pens came with the little plastic nib that protects the tip before you use it for the first time. But even the pens without them wrote perfectly on the first try.Definitely a big fan of these, as well as G2 pens in general.

More awesome pens from Pilot. Love these colors!
Pilot G2 pens are always some of the best gel pens around, and are my top “go to” brand of pens to buy. So, I was very happy when I saw the “Colors of Creativity” set, especially in my favorite color, purple. I knew that they’d be high quality and I was excited to try the range of shades of purple, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! These are awesome. As with all Pilot G2 pens I have, they write smoothly with no skipping and no little blobs of ink and every pen worked easily from the beginning. I love that the set includes two metallic colors, a silvery one and a silvery purple. Now to try to convince myself that I probably shouldn’t write my Christmas cards in purple this year!

Great Brand, Reliable Pens
The Pilot G2 model of pens feature a Gel ink with a Roller point. I have been using Pilot gel pens off and on over the years, and it’s always a pleasant writing experience with no fade or loss of ink when writing until it’s out of ink.Out of the package these pens had no issue writing, and you’re seeing the first lines each pen made in the picture attached. Each line was crisp and fully made right out of the package. The colors are great for drawing, sketching, or adding a personal touch to hand written letters or signatures.
