It works great, it's cheap, and easy to load.
This machine has brought filament left in the garage open in the rainy pacific north wesr for years back from the dead. I stopped printing about 3 years ago when my ender printer died. I just got a bambu printer and using some of that old pla just led to a stringy mess. I have the ams light so can do 4 colors at the same time, but driers that could hold 4 filiments are expense. And that brings us to our clearly repurposed toaster oven body (it does not have the same heating element, but instead something that can only lightly heat the area). Yep, it's not silent but not not really any louder than a running printer. Just a light repeating him. It leave it on all the time baking whatever I need next, and it seems fine and safe temperature as I can put my hands on all the internal surfaces and it is just warm. Everything I put in there for 12 hrs (my typical overnight time) prints like a dream even if it was a crunchy mess before. I live in an area that is technically a rainforest with super high humidity and the printer is running in near freezing temperatures, and with a warm spool from this thing, it is no problem. Also it's nice to just open the door and slide in a new roll. They just glide in like a slice of toast and no complex closing mechanism. But yeah, it's cheap and it works. Just grab the darn thing before they run out of toaster bodies to repurpose to make these. Update: we are in our rainy season here and I decided to get a set of two humidity sensors. It is 73% humidity in the room this is in and only 10% inside the dehumidifier. That's pretty darn good 👍

Best filament dryer on the market hands down.
Hands down this is the best dryer I have used. It is made of metal and feels quite rugged as compared to a flimsy plastic Comgrow that I tried just before this one. Plus this one actually puts out a substantial amount of heat that will actually drive out some moisture found in the filaments. I also enjoy the simplicity of the controls as it is just a nob and I don't have to deal with punching values into a keypad. I can imagine this will last a long long time.

Might be my worst purchase ever on Amazon
Timer is 0-120 minutes only on a dial. Not long enough for any filament type. Temp is uncontrolled in the 45-55 range. Too cool for most filament types. No display of temp or humidity. Makes loud and annoying ticking sound when in use. Also, most importantly it is not air tight. So it runs for 2 hours and them promptly starts sucking moisture back in.

Nice simple dryer with retro appeal
It is as basic as it gets and it works. Plus it looks very retro and if that is something you value then this is a great little unit. I personally like it a lot. The fact that it is 100 percent a slightly reconfigured toaster oven amused me as well.

Works for pla and petg
Good setup for my mmu3 to keep my pla dry. Very simple design but heats up quick. Careful with the filament going out of the ptfe at harsh angles as the heat will put kinks in it.

It’s a toaster oven that only heats to 48C
Might be okay for PLA and maybe TPU but it only gets to 48C after about 2 hrs. It’s basically a toaster oven without a thermostat so you’re stuck at 48 degrees. The good news is that’s the perfect temp to liquify crystallized honey so I’ll be repurposing this item but I would return it otherwise. Just replaced it with the Sunloo and it heats up to 70C in about 15 minutes.

It’s simple but works, that’s what I like about it!
It works as advertised and is a very good value for a four spool dryer. Just be aware that if you have printed your own spools for refills with PLA, this will melt them. Use PETG or ABS spools and you’ll be good to go.
