Great invention!
these things are amazing. They worked perfectly so much easier than screwing nuts down to tighten onto the cable.

This is a clever widget! Way better than U-bolt wire clamps. And it's easy to use.
The media could not be loaded. This product is quite clever! Normally when I'm hanging a wire for say, a clothes line or camping item, I use a wire U-clamp with the two tiny nuts. But this is way easier. It's easy to use. You simply feed the wire through the hole in the direction of the arrow, and you're fine. The wire I fed through the hole was frayed, yet it still seemed fairly easy to feed through. And it was easy to release the wire by simply pinching the spring-loaded flange. If you need to wire something up that will need to be removed at the end of summer (or a camping trip) this will definitely be my new go-to widget.Another application for this would be a wire-loop strap. You could wrap it around a thick cord or hose to carry it.All in all, it's a clever invention. The wire doesn't slide through the device until it's pinched. It seems to have a lot of holding power.

Great invention. High quality. Grip well. Simple to use. Very pricey.
These are a great invention. The smaller diameter piece is spring-loaded and when pushed in, you can easily slip a 1/16" diameter steel cable through the hole. When it retracts back under spring pressure, it holds the cable tight. I could not pull the cable back through no matter how hard I pulled by hand. The great thing about these is that they are re-useable. Simply push that smaller-diameter tube in and the cable releases, allowing you to reposition it or remove the cable. Much easier than using one-time crimps, and results in a smaller and nicer looking end, especially if you are using just the clamp without making a loop. If you drill a hole the exact diameter of the cable and pass the cable through this hole then attach this clamp to the end of the cable, you don't even need a loop in the cable. Very pricey at almost $2 a piece, so I won't be using them on projects where I need a lot unless they start offering them in larger quantities at a lower price per piece. I'm taking off one star because of the high price.

I don't see how you can easily suspend anything with these clamps
I have been thinking hard on 1) how to use these cable/wire/rope clamps and 2) how to review them. I still haven't figured out how you can effectively use them, how to actually use them.In my photo the clamp will freely slide up the cable/wire. It won't freely slide down the wire, unless you press down the smaller cylinder that sticks up at the top of the clamp, where the wire goes into the top of the clamp. Press that little cylinder down and the clamp slides down the wire until you release the little cylinder. So how are you supposed to use the clamp? There is nowhere to attach anything to the clamp, other than the wire/cable that goes through the center. So how is the clamp going to "suspend" something to keep it from sliding down the wire/cable? There is nothing to attach something to the body of the clamp, you can not hang something from the clamp. We could try putting the clamp below something on the wire, but unless you had a larger hole that the lock could fit in, without being depressed, the item would rest on the small cylinder lock/unlock and it would slide right down to the end of the wire/cable, and off the end if there was no stop at the end of the cable. If you look at all of the photos in the product description, there is one where these clamps would work - the suspended glass shelf with the plants on the shelf. If the holes in the shelf are bigger than the lock button, but smaller than the body of the clamp, the clamps would hold the suspended shelf. In the other photos the clamp is shown above the sign, lights and bird cages, and the clamps would freely slide down - they are not supporting anything that I can see. There is no clear description of how the clamp functions in those circumstances, and I think its only function in the photos is aesthetics. Looking at the photos, and with my trying to figure out how to suspend something with the clamp (and failing), I can not see how these clamps could easily be used to suspend anything, other than the clamp.
