As the title indicates, used to of these put together to ship a 48x60 painted cavas artwork to a client. Putting two together is very easy, to make a loner tube, just need to cut two sections about 6 inches each, slit it down the middle, insert in to insides with glue (half in to one, the other half in to other) then repeat for outside, and add tape.Super durable, end caps fit easily yet snug in to ends (add tape also). Simple and widely used item, but writing post for fellow artists, as we know how these are the last step to get product to clients without fear of damage. Don't fear, these are great.

I needed this to mail a large blueprint and it was the perfect size

My son’s military movers were showing up the following day and this was the only tube that would fit his art prints that would arrive in time. The tube was so tightly wedded into the box that it damaged the ends of the tube. The plastic inserts that were to seal the ends would not fit due to the damage. I had no time to return and wait for replacement so was forced to use the one sent. I had to leave the tube (with the prints rolled up inside) in the shipping box which worked but defeated the purpose of the tube. If you have the time, I recommend you go with a different brand.

The closing ends are hard to affix, requiring strong hands, patience, and lots of strapping tape.

The ends are really difficult to open. Literally broke a nail trying to open it.
