excellent knife in all key respects- keeps its edge well, good balance, looks great. the full tang construction initially threw me off- it was paired with wood scales that seemed inexplicably too small for the metal... leading to an awkward ridge sticking out slightly from the wood all the way around the handle. not sharp, just prominent enough to be noticeable. i thought i'd have to get used to it, BUT it seems to have 'healed' itself, and the knife is now near perfect- the wood is flush with the metal, and the edge doesn't protrude at all... maybe from absorbing moisture? anyway, this is now the workhorse of my kitchen and i'm very satisfied.

So far the knife is great. It is very sharp and it cuts with ease as time goes on. We will see the door ability and how long it holds its edge, but everything is great.
