Ithink this is the best cage for the fp/fpl. It may not be perfect, but it allows many attachment points, protects the camera very well. There may be hole spacing issues with some smallrig items, but there are always work-arounds.

I really wanted to like this cage because I think the design is currently the best for the sigma. But I just had so many issues with the actually spacing and construction. A lot of the screw holes are not placed acurateky and this is really frustrating when mounting. I may keep it I may not. Part of why I bought it is because it lets you mount a v lock without a base plate that’s a key feature and the spacing is off by a few millimeters and a rail block won’t go on

if you buy this commit to the purchase because refunding is slow. nothing wrong with the product, i return it so i can get the complete set.
