He probado muchos tés de jazmín, y el de Kusmi Tea destaca por su equilibrio. No abruma con el perfume floral como otros, sino que lo integra de forma armoniosa con el té verde base, logrando una infusión refinada y muy agradable.

This tea has a lovely, fresh fragrance, as the dry product out of the container and as a cup of tea. I steeped the leaves for just over three minutes. Longer steep time would produce a bitter taste. And I let the water cool for about 30 seconds, from boiling. These tea leaves should not be subjected to boiling hot water. I've enjoyed this green tea/jasmine combination because the scent of jasmine comes forward more definitely than it ever does in combination with black tea. What I don't like is the lack of clarity concerning place of origin. It's made clear that Kusmi teas are produced and packaged in Normandy, which is known for non-toxic soils. I have no way to know where the plants for these teas are located, and this is important because certain tea growing areas of the world are heavily and dangerously contaminated with heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead. Green tea may have many inherent healthful properties, but if the leaves come from a plant growing in the soil of a reclaimed toxic waste dump, the packaged tea is going to be poisonous. And it is extremely important to know, that a plant product can be properly and legally labeled as "organic" if the leaves are not sprayed with pesticides or herbicides. This type of label says nothing about toxic metals taken up by the soil. The taste of this tea is very nice. Does not taste like it came from a toxic waste dump. I just won't purchase this again without knowing the origins, before Normandy, France.
