Ordered this product for my nan, who unfortunately has a mediacl condition that makes it difficult for her to cut her nails and do other basic things. At first I was really sceptical that this product is going to do the job but after receiving it she tried it and we were surprised, it actually worked! My nan was able to file her nails down quite easily. And the best part she was able to do it all by herself. In my opinion this is a great product for babies and adults alike. It is super easy to use, isn't as noisy as I thought it would be. I have not tried it on a baby but I believe it will be safe to use on their tiny nails as when the file goes on skin it stops spinning.

My baby is 9 months got this to sort the wolverine attacks and found that the baby clippers were no longer doing the job as he would move his hands. This tool is so handy it’s not very loud but if you are going to use it will babies sleeping wait for them to be into a deep sleep or it may wake them. There’s a little light on it so you can use it in the night and it also works as a distraction. There are 4 different speed and rotation settings that make it easier to shape the nails The extra files are great too

Cutting nails of a newborn is important to avoid the baby scratching itself all over its face. I always found it hard to do as my baby would move alot and was scared using baby clippers to cut the nails. As the baby moves you could end up cutting extra skin or cutting the nail abit to much. I was suggested a baby nail trimmer to make things easier so ended up buying this. What worth while purchases this was. There are multiple roughness adapters for the diffrence ages which is clearly marked. Both batteries and the filing adapters are easy to place onto the body. The trimmer itself has diffrent speed options and also a left and right option which reverse dirrection of the filler so that its easier to use. The light is also quite handy and located in the right place so that you can really see what you are doing. At first i was abit nervous about accidentally touching the babys skin but the trimmer is quite gentle so even if you do accidentally touch the skin it doesnt cause any harm. The only thing that slightly lets it down is the carry case which doesnt quite hold the bits and pieces securely in place so when you open the case the diffrent adapters are all over the place. Not a big deal as the trimmer itself works a charm.

I used it for my toddler and little baby , easy to use without fear of cutting your babies fingers. It lasted it really long

Had been tearing my hear out over my 3 week old’s wolverine nails. I’d managed to chop them down in week one with some tommee tippee nail clippers, but it was so stressful and one time I’d even managed to accidentally cut him in the process - cue tears for all involved! I’d tried a nail file, which did an alright job but didn’t do much for length and left them a bit jagged. This product however, is a life saver! Really easy to use and quickly trimmed his talons down quietly and softly. Did it mid-feed and he didn’t even notice! So pleased we’re no longer getting scratched (and neither is baby!), and his ever fast growing nails can now be quickly and painlessly taken care of. Best £17 I ever spent!

I love this product! I've been using it on my baby since she was about a month old. It absolutely does not hurt her and I touch the skin with it all the time. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it you can do the nails super quickly. At first I would only use the slower setting and really took my time so it did feel just as long as a normal file but once you get the hang of it and a bit of confidence, whack it up to the higher setting and can get the nails done really quickly. I always do it when baby is sleeping, it doesn't wake her and sometimes I actually think she likes the low hum it makes. I would always come at the nail from below to make sure I'm not going over the nail bed with it. I also hold it upside down as I find the light is aimed better this way. I also find it best to stick to the edges of the file. I found that when filing the corners its best to use the right turning setting for the right side and left turning setting for the left side. I will probably use the 0-3 months file until I feel it is no longer working on her nails rather than go by age to ensure the rougher file won't be too much for her skin and will do the same on the next setting up.

I wish this was out when my children were babies because it's truly whisper quiet! It's not just for babies though, it's great for older children and adults. Also good for kids who have sensory issues! My son has autism and has always given me a hard time with cutting his nails. I tried this on him, and WOW, he did great!! He liked that I filed his nails versus cutting them, plus, it worked fast! He didn't have that feeling you get after cutting nails. I love it mostly for that reason alone. I tried it on myself, and wow again! This is a great manicure set for adults and has everything you need to make your nails pretty. I love that it has a point polisher which works great for removing cuticles. The entire unit is amazing. I love that it has so many different grinding heads. It comes in a case so you can keep everything together and not worry about loosing anything. I was shocked at how quiet the motor is, you truly can't hear it! The tool itself has a curve in it so it fits comfortably in your hand, no worries with it slipping out, and the light is a nice bonus. I would give this 10 stars if I could! Definitely money well spent.
