This is one of my favorite fragrances from Maison Margiela. I am in love with all the products from this company and this Under the Stars is perfect for day or night. The first time I used this was actually at a campground and while looking at the stars sitting by a fire. I found the scent to be very warm and cozy with the amber notes. Sitting in the woods and having that woody amber scent was the the best feeling in the world. This scent is not overpowering but it is long lasting. The night before I had sprayed myself a few times and the next morning I could still smell it on my clothes. This was a 1 Fl Oz bottle and I found the price for this to be in line with other designer fragrances. This is great value for the money and the amount you get in the bottle will last a very long time. I got many compliments from friends as they enjoyed the warm cedarwood smell. I also love the bottle and color of this spicy fragrance to be in line with the scent. The bottle is made of glass and has a leather like band on the top. This is easy to spray and it sprays a fine mist evenly. I really like this brand and what attracts me the most is that this fragrance will not irritate my skin after keeping it on all night. I also do not get a headache or a itchy feeling in my throat like I get from other brands. This is a perfect gift for anyone or for yourself. If you prefer a bold and complex scent, I would highly suggest this. 5 - Stars!

If you like this type of scent, woody and strong, then you will like this. The scent isn't bad, it's just really strong and that turns me off. The box says it's a "Memory in a fragrance", unfortunately, the only memory this invokes in me is a guy at a disco wearing too much cologne. BUT...you know what you like and you might like this.

If you don't like deeper perfumes than this isn't for you as it is somewhat woody but in a light balanced way. It isn't musky. It doesn't lean feminine or masculine.
