It broke after 7 months
This item was amazing to have until it broke 7 months after purchasing it. This is becoming a pattern with all my Amazon electronics purchases. It's the fourth thing to quit on me. The other amazon purchases include: facial scrubber, bluetooth headphones, electric toothbrush. Buy a warranty if you want to take a risk with these!Before that it was a pretty good product. I would have liked a smaller size that I can take to work and be discreet and not look like I'm pregnant while having cramps. But this size is pretty portable too if you have a casual work environment.It heats up fast and you don't have to put it in a nasty, crusty with food particles microwave.The heating component broke. So now when I plug it in, the red light comes on, but no heating takes place.I would stick to the classic method, a hot water bottle.

My Daughter's New Best Friend!
My daughter suffers from IBS and a drafty dorm room. A "hot water bottle" is sometimes the best treatment for both issues. Unfortunately, she is away at school and does not have an easy way to heat a water bottle and keep it warm through the night. This is a wonderful, safe way to wear a "hot water bottle" for soothing IBS relief and has the added benefit of being a personal warming device that is approved for her dorm.
