So worth it!!!
Took us about 2.5 hours to build it and instructions weren’t great. We used the stock photo from Amazon for guidance. It wasn’t fun to put together but it worked so well and got all our leaves up in less than an hour. Usually it takes 4 hours plus to rake our leaves. We had to buy a hitch for it to work with our tractor and the hitch pin it comes with isn’t great but knowing that I won’t have to rake leaves every again made it all worth it

Good Price and Great for my Need
I have about 2 acres to mow every week. The front yard where people pass the house is a large area. And, the clumps of grass clippings are an unsightly mess. I am not inclined to rake and bag the cut grass at my age. I also have some physical issues that prevent me from standing for long. Adding a grass catcher for our John Deere riding mower was an option. However, the cost was a lot more than I wanted to pay. This sweeper was a reasonable price and I thought the reviews made it worth trying. The product assembly was not too bad, though the illustrations were confusing in some areas. But, even with my physical limitations (and age, I am 70) I was able to assemble it mostly by myself. I would highly recommend using the online video instead of the written guide. The video is excellent. The hardest part of the installation was the grass catcher. You should find a second person to help you with that.Once assembled, I followed the instructions for picking up grass from the lawn. After a few passes I got the proper height adjustment. The sweeper works great for me. It picks up the clumps and most of loose grass. The yard looks neat afterward. If you are looking for 100% removal of the grass, this is not for you. If you want a good job on your yard that makes it look neat and well kept, the I recommend this product. The price was right and it does just what I needed.I make several passes and unload the grass on our trash pile. There are a few design changes I would make, and have made, to the mechanism for emptying the grass. But, overall this is a very good alternative to the really expensive grass catchers.I want to give this a 3.7 rating but I will go with a 4, because it is definitely better than a 3.

Time and back saver!
This leaf sweeper does a great job cleaning up the lawn. It probably picks up 90% of the leaves with ease. The bottom of the bagger is quite thick and feels like it will last. All of the holes lined up pretty much as expected for assembly. It was not the easiest thing to put together though. I did it alone in a little over 2 hours. With help, I probably could have done it in 90 minutes. There were a couple of steps that seemed out of order and once I figured it out the process went smoothly. Once it’s full, and it holds a lot of leaves, dumping would be very easy if that were an option for me. Simply pull the rope to angle the hopper forward, dump and drive away. That’s not really an option for me as I live in a subdivision and I’m forced to bag my leaves. Scooping them out of the hopper and into bags isn’t the easiest, but it’s better than raking and then bagging. I filled 10 large leaf bags in under an hour. No complaints about this at all. I’ll be storing it inside as I feel leaving it in the elements probably will degrade the hopper. This was well worth the money.

Don’t buy this unless you’re mechanical.
Worst assembly instructions ever. No indications of front or back on diagrams, drawings and descriptions of parts are a joke. After second use the nuts and bolts started coming off. I’ll be purchasing regular bolts, nuts, and lock washers for reassembly.

Will it last more than ONE season?
The media could not be loaded. I've experienced a few major issues with the lawn sweeper after using it for 1 month.#1 - The pins they give you are way too long and creates too much play in the hooper. When dumping it the pins catch on one side or the other making it impossible to dump sometimes- most of the time. I'm considering putting bolts in with lock nuts. If I decide I want to continue using it!#2 - The wheel assembles have way too much play in them after only a month of use. I greased them initially plus a second time. I can already see wear in different places. When backing up and turning, they lock up putting gouges in the yard. Not sure if that can be remedied.#3 - When picking up grass clippings they tend to accumulate right where they come off the brush and pile up more towards the front of the hopper, not letting the hopper fill up and the grass just falls back in the yard. More so when damp, which is unavoidable.#4 - The tongue is not long enough making backing up a challenge. Jack knifes easily. It does work somewhat, if you don't mind going over the same area many times.I'm 63 years old and have had many of these in my life. I was a general contractor and consider myself quite the inventor. I'm just not sure if I can modify this thing enough to make it usable.
