Pleasantly Surprised Again!
I bought a two bay charger a couple years ago and was pleasantly surprised. That one had the three stage LED that indicated how charged the battery was, with the highest segment flashing and the one(s) under it on steady. That one now overheats the batteries; time to get rid of it. This one blows it away! I have a bunch of 14500 lithium batteries and it charged them in about an hour (the ones that weren't almost full already. I decided to check out the advertising, and charged three of those and a 2400 mah, 18650 for one of those CREE tactical flashlights at the same time. As advertised! 4 completely independent circuits - one for each bay! If you hit the corresponding button for a bay under the LED display, it first shows you what it's charging at. If you hit it again, it toggles back and forth between .5 amps and 1.0 amps. VERY well regulated! This, by the way tapers off at the end, like it should. I set them all to 1 amp, just to see. It can charge all the bays at 1 amp at the same time. The outer two bays are wider than the inner two. I'm not sure if the 18650 would have fit in the inner bays; I didn't try that. but a 14550 fits in all the baysThe charging current dropped to 0 amps at between 4.19 and 4.21 volts, just as it should have. By the way, I left the 18650 at 1 amp and turned the 14500's back down to .5 amps after I tested to make sure it would do 1 amp on all four bays at the same time. It shows voltage to one hundredth of a volt, then it shows current to 1 milliamp, then it shows time with seconds: how long it's been charging, independently for all four bays. It feels and seems very well made with thick, tough plastic. I haven't tried it in a car yet; I may never even use that feature, but it comes with a car (lighter) cord. The instructions say 12 to 24 volts for that. For the house, it says 100-240 volts. In the car, it says it will draw 2 amps MAX. I haven't tried anything except straight lithium, but it will charge 1.5 volt, 3.7 volt (LiFePO) or 4.2 volt batteries in any combination, according to the doc's. Assuming it lasts for any length of time, what's not to love!? What else could they possibly have made it capable of!? As someone else pointed out, this thing isn't only great at charging batteries, but it's great at letting you know the condition of your batteries! By the way, it has 5 bar indicators charge level indicators, each indicating 20% charge, but with the volts, amps, and charge time readouts, it's almost like, who needs them? Maybe from across the room? It really doesn't get much better than this charger.

Very versatile charger & excellent customer service that went above and beyond
Had this one for 4 1/2 years. It charged my NiCd & Li Ion batteries, AAA, AA & 18650. For each battery in a slot, it showed the voltage, current & how long the battery has been in a slot. After 4.5 years of weekly uses, it developed a ghost charge (an empty slot showing charging info). Power cycled it multiple times. I took it apart and cleaned in well and made sure there is no short & no dirt. I also saw no burn. Who knows if there might have been a power surge that fried something. Ready to re-purchase the same one since is had worked so well. But I reached out to EASTSHINE, the seller & maker, to see if they have any suggestions to "reset". I told them I would buy a another one if there was nothing else I could do to fix it. Sent them some photos and explained the issue. To my surprise, they offered to send me a replacement which I just received and started using already. They went above and beyond expectations. Kudos!

Good inexpensive charger!
After reviewing other good chargers on Amazon & elsewhere (so many choices!) I bought 3 of these in 2018 and I'm content with my purchase, they work great for me. And since a dead battery can often recharge within 30 mins, I don't think they're slow, they work fine. I'm not sure what a couple negative posts were talking about, because I also charge a BIG battery from a vape, so big it barely fits in the slot... I put in an outside slot & I see no reason it can't hold 4 of those big boys if you wanted.Although you're not supposed to, I've even put regular akaline batteries in it, mostly at first just to see if they're charged or not, since the flashing numbers tell what the battery voltage is & the bars show the charge.. but a couple times they showed half charge & I let them top off & only took maybe 10 mins. I did that again today & one of the Duracell alkalines showed 1.5v, but the other one only showed .87v even though both showed fully charged, so I tossed that one in the recycle bag. So this also makes for a handy battery volt meter & especially for under $30, I think its a great little charger and glad I got 3 of them. You know the saying... "One is none & two is one" ...just in case the 1st one goes caput some day, plus I decided adding a 3rd one to my preps would make great trading stock someday. ; )P.S. The only thing it doesn't include is a discharge option, but from what I hear, only certain users that constantly top off their batteries really need that option (to prevent memory, right?) and that's not how I use batteries, so no biggie for me.
