I wanted to get my boyfriend a scrabble board that was sturdily built and was made of quality wood! Most boards that were wood and seemed nice were way out of my price range so this was a great alternative for the quality but smaller size! The board is so pretty and its smaller size has lent it self to use as we now carry it to our coffee shop or park to play outside. The board is quite small but neither of us really mind. Since it’s a travel board there are indents to keep the tiles in places which has been so hopeful since I’m known to accidentally mess the whole board! Highly recommend!!

Got this for a weekend trip away with my now non-significant other. Board is well made, and the tiles are a good weight without feeling cheap or too small. I really enjoyed how the pieces fit snugly on the board without being difficult to remove. Game play is easy to learn and fun to play. Unfortunately, I walloped him so badly that he refused to ever play scrabble again despite it being one of my favorite games. (‘Loser’ is worth 5 points if you’re not on a premium tile, if anyone was wondering)

Very nice game board! It's a mini version so everything is really small, but it's perfect. The board has raised edges around each letter space so they don't slip around. The magnets hold the sliding top in place just fine and it's great that everything stores right inside then folds away. We have played it already and like it a lot!

The letters are 1/2 inch. They fit into the small squares on the board and stay in place. The letters on the playing board don’t slide like the big game board. A nice wooden box that stores it all. Bag of letters are a bit hard to flatten enough for closure of the game. The tray that holds the letters is just big enough for the 7 letters you need to play. They should be a little bit bigger so you can move the letters around easier. Perfect size for traveling, we’re going to try it on a long flight.

This is the best reasonably portable Scrabble game we have ever had. For years, we relied on the canvas case zipper protected, portable game, but the letter pieces often bounced out of the plastic folding board. There also wasn’t room in that portable version to keep (without an unsightly split zipper) letter stands, notepad, and pencil, which are so essential to being a nerdy wordaphile. This portable game however is both functional and, dare I say it, handsome. Once folded open, the board splits open in separate wings to provide access to storage for the letter, bag, letters, pencil, and notepad. Although it is a little large for stuffing in an overnight, it carries nicely in a backpack. Remember, it’s not about the words, it’s about the score.

I love the size and quality. this can easily bring in any outings without taking much of spaces in your bags. The quality si superb. I count the tile/s and its complete.

It’s small and compact but living in assisted living it’s perfect to store. Small easy to play on.

Almost feels like it's for really small people/children. I'm average height/weight but over 50...so the eyesight is not the best and the thought of finagling these little tiles is a bit daunting. Although the construction helps tiles stay in place...so once you plop a tile in, it should rest there....I really need to play it to speak to the particulars. :-) However, the quality is great. Definitely a great idea for traveling if you're the type to play Scrabble while on travel.
