Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2019 Booster Box | 36 Booster Packs (540 Cards)

I was hesitant about buying these cards online because of reviews of 'scammers'. However, the price was tempting to take the chance and the seller Atlas Game Shop had very good rating in the past 12 mths. Overall, I would say the box received is new and has not been tampered with. <pictures included>. Reading other reviews, there was concern about the small cut at the top or bottom of the card. All the card package I received had them but it was not cut all the way through the edge of the package. I believe the cut is to help open the cards more easily. Also, the spine is still intact <picture 4> and does not seem to be open then resealed.I have not open all the packs to determine if I got 'good' or 'bad' cards. However, if I am assuming that there was no 'scamming' going on, then I have to assume 'bad' cards is just the luck of the pull. I can't fault the seller for bad pulls.This set was purchase for my son. The last time I played magic was back in the early 90's. I didn't even think this was a thing until my son ask for cards. I assumed it was all Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon. Anyway, it seems that the game play hasn't changed too much. It is fast pace game that doesn't take hours to play. However, I do have to re-learn how to build decks with the new cards. Overall, MtG is still a 5 star game.

This product delivers exactly what it advertises. These other folks saying the packs were altered, or cards pulled are not aware that the Nicol Bolas, the Ravager checklist card is a random insert like tokens/foils, and the slits in the packs were added by Wizards to allow easier opening of the booster. Further, if cards were pulled or product damaged(slits) that's not the fault of the manufacturer. The product reviews should not reflect seller shenanigans.This set is really nice. I am just returning and trying to build my card base. You can build quite a few solid themed decks from just this booster pack if you add a few others and lands. Overall, great quality of returning 'core' cards. 5/5 well earned imo.If you have questions, let me know. I can add photos if needed.

Most important things to know: a) box was wrapped in that embossed WotC logoed plastic and b) each pack was clipped slightly at one edge (this is a GOOD thing. It's a repackaging thwarting effort.) Brand new, baby.At $90 ($2.55/pk) this can trade out a moderate dinner and a movie date or bar hopping or whatevs, and you can just sit back, chill, crack packs all night long... it's a night of nerd heaven.This would be great for getting back into or into magic. Ton of stuff to draw from. Obviously would need lands, but going through all the cards will definitely help someone new to the game or set learn ins and outs. The booster box is all about the experience...That said... the cards were kind. My pulls (this is a little nuts... dunno if I'd believe it if I read it...):6 mythics including Nicol bolas ravager, sarkhan fireblood, vivien, resplendent angel, chromium, palladia36 non duplicate rares. Amazed by this one... all 36 packs had a different rarePlenty of commons and uncommons from both lists with shockingly little duplication6 foils including 1 rare, 1 uncommon, 3 commons, and -my personal fav across the board- a forestMy experience was righteous. Though there are never any certainties when it comes to busting packs, starting with authentic, untampered with product is a great start. Thumbs up here.

Purchased from a 3rd party via Amazon. Box arrived in good condition, factory sealed. I pulled one planeswalker, but several Elder Dragons and a few other nice mythics.As an aside: a few of my friends were incredulous when I told them I purchased booster boxes via Amazon. I have for several years now, without a problem. Shipping is very fast, prices are good, and products are legitimate; so, I recommend Amazon for box purchases.

Every time a new set is issued, I hear the faint crinkle of booster wrappers and it’s like the whisper of seductive voices. Before I know it, I’ve ordered a box and I wake up the morning after delivery with cards scattered all over the living room. There is a pile of crumpled wrappers in the trash, and I have a vague memory of mythic rares in the twilight. Nowadays, I have a 12 year old child, so the experience has fewer erotic overtones than previously, but there’s still a frisson of temptation. Oh, this box? Sure, fine I guess. I think there were two of the fancy mythic rare cavaliers and some other good things. But let’s face it, I’m easily seduced by boosters.

The media could not be loaded. All packs were opened and missing cards the first time. Product was unopened the 2nd time. So I changed my rating, just advise to video the opening of all magic cards from the amazon box to checking the booster packs. I love Amazon so I really hope they catch the theif.

I read reviews about a lot of people complaining about the box being tampered with and took a shot at buying this they must have bought a used box cause nothing about my package was tampered with it was completely sealed and I got a lot of good cards I even pulled a planeswalker out of one booster pack I can't complain will buy again from this shop

My box came factory sealed. Be sure to pay attention to who you are purchasing from though. If it says "Sold by <vendor name> and Fulfilled by Amazon", check the vendor and make sure they have good ratings. Or just buy directly from Amazon to lower your chances of fraud.People complaining about lack of card drops don't seem to understand that drops are, by design, random. That is how random drops work, people. Buy cards to play and have fun, not because you are expecting some high-value drop. That said, I bought this booster box for my 11 year old and he pulled some pretty good/expensive cards.

Delivered fast and factory sealed. Great variety of cards, 5 Mythics and lots of foils. The foil rare I got wasn't very good, but that is the luck of the draw.Very happy with the purchase, I got exactly what I expected.
