BETTER than the $550 insurance supplied pedals I have had for 15 years.
I was feeling I had enough on my plate where I did not want to drill and install my still good $550 left side driver pedal from my defunct Lexus SC300 to my "new" 2007 Lexus ES350. I am VERY pleased about the efficacy of this new, very reasonably priced unit. Total time to install and adjust was about 30 minutes. Take LONGER if you need to. Its gotta be perfect to be totally SAFE. I have size 14 boots/shoes and have plenty of clearance. If you are not happy, its you, not the unit. I posses a very high spatial and physical connection to the way things move and work. If you don't have that same trait, then get someone that does to at least look at your set up. Let him/her guide you to the perfect adjustment for your body and personal ergonomics, and SAFETY. Tips: 1)Do not use the front adjustable pedestals at first or at all. I can envision very few vehicles that will need them. The pedestals add an unnecessary complication. NOT having the pedestals installed makes for a much more slip proof base. 2) I feel its better to KEEP your plush floormats (mine are brand new Lexus replacements). The hook and loop strips seem to nestle in and grip the base to stay in place better than I thought possible. 3) Use RED (not Blue) Loctite. Blue is simply not strong enough for an item subject to constant forces. AND this is a SAFETY ITEM! Never frack around. USE RED LOCTITE ONLY! This is a potential life and death safety item. Red Loctite is NOT permanent. Heat from a heat gun or blow dryer will allow any Red Loctited fastener to come apart. 4) Before Loctite, experiment with angles and distances. The right side of the unit's adjustments are fairly straight forward. But the left side (with the left accelerator pedal) involves a wide myriad of choices. 5) Keep angles simple. Start with making the left side pedal pretty much at the same angle as the built in vehicle pedal. 6) Adjust the left side pedal so it it not too close OR too far away from your brake pedal. 7) Adjust the left side pedal so it is on the same plane (NEVER higher!) or a bit lower than your bake pedal If you even once mistakenly step on the left side accelerator AND the brake pedal at the same time, RE THINK your adjustments. If the base slips, EVEN ONCE I would consider permanently mounting the unit using the optional supplied hardware. And don't drill right through: Brake lines, electrical bundles, gas line etc. In two weeks the base has not slipped once. I am still pleasantly surprised at this. I am a right side BKA and can drive any two pedal car using the factory right side pedal. Some cars are easier than others. I drove the 2007 ES350 for two months with out a left side pedal. I had a lot of issues getting full throttle out of it because of ergos. I am SO MUCH HAPPIER and safer now. This left side pedal system more than meets my needs. extremely impressed. If you have huge feet and boots/shoes like I do, and feel that this unit will not work for you, then the problem is 90% likely to be YOU. Not everyone has a high sense of spatiality and vision of how things move and work. Don't despair. Most people do NOT have this gift. I greatly urge you find a friend or PAY a pro to do the adjustments if you are not a total whiz solving spatial/mechanical adjustments. Even if you pay an expert to adjust and Loctite (DONT LET THEM USE BLUE Loctite!!!! They are WRONG in this particular case. MUST USE RED ONLY!) Remember,it is YOU who will be hospitalized if his Blue Loctite fails. He's not going to pay your hospital bill, and lost wages etc. REALIZE: a good heat gun makes RED loctite as temporary as any other color!!!! Even if you have to pay an expert to do the adjustments you will save a lot of money, since there is no drilling and having to lift and work under your car or truck. Want to REALLY make this safe? Buy all GRADE 8 or higher metric fasteners to replace the Chimesium fasteners. Even with Red Loctite if I torque the supplied fasteners to values I feel are safe for ME. the soft Chinesium threads will readily STRIP. 90% of the time, Chinesium fasteners are really crappy, soft and UNSAFE. My cost to replace all the fasteners that matter with Grade 8 was an additional $10. I would do that if they cost $25. Do that, use RED LOCTITE and you have unit that should last 20 to 30 years....IMO. That is an unreal value when you add everything up. The superior ergos of this unit (when adjusted properly) makes it WELL WORTH IT. I used my own larger allen keys to really put some STANK on tightening up every new GRADE 8 fastener. And, yes, Red Loctite on top of that. I replaced my fasenters even on my $550 USA made pedals with Grade 8 fasteners. I have had my BMW M3 on the race track in SEBRING FLORIDA many , many times. Their technical inspectors always give a thumbs up.

Excellent and quality product worth every dollar
Excellent product! For years I have been driving a car that had an accelerator installed on the left side of the brake as a restriction on my driver's license. I was just looking for something similar that was portable and found this product. Worth every dollar it cost. There is an option to adjust the accelerator pedal to fit any vehicle. The only problem is that the device is not connected to the car and therefore it moves, but this can be solved with really cheap double-sided tape that solves the problem of the product moving. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs something. I will buy the product again for my second vehicle.

Great, but missing screws
Product is exactly what I need, HOWEVER it arrived without an essential screw needed to keep the roller arm in place. Pretty easy to go to a hardware store and find a replacement, but not ideal.
