The gloves fit great, are comfortable and give great support. I use these gloves for Crossfit, mainly for the pull-up bar (Toes to bar), but I use them during my whole workout and as I mentioned, they give great wrist support and protect my palms well. After a couple of months of using these gloves, I noticed a small rip in the left thumb area, I do not know how the rip happened, but I reached out to Nordic and spoke (Via email) to an individual named Chad. I told him about the rip and attached a picture of the tear, he was very helpful, responded quickly and sent me a new pair of gloves immediately. (The tear was small and my mom just sewed it right back up for me and they are like brand new and have been holding up great and now I have an extra pair) I also mentioned to him that the size I ordered was a tiny bit too big, I told him I believe I ordered a large and needed a medium and he informed me that I had actually ordered a medium and if I would rather a small or still want a medium. I ordered the small and they fit better, thanks to Chad I ordered the right size. Be careful when ordering your size, I used the measurement chart and thought I would be a medium, but am really a small. They're a little bigger than you (or atleast I) would guess. Bottom line, great product and customer service. Great price for the quality of the product. I would recommend this purchase.

These gloves aren't cute...straight up; however, these are the best gloves I have ever had. Very thick, but do not constrict movement. I'm hoping they don't tear easily. Great for deadlifts or pull-ups. Better than my harbinger gloves for sure. My friends tried them on and are now purchasing them. UPDATE 9 months later: They lasted 9 months and now there are super torn around the fingers; the wrist strap still works well. My main issue is that you really have to air them out after each use or they smell awful. They started tearing at the 6-month mark, I waited until month 9 because I really wanted for them to at least last a year, but they were starting to become painful due to the fabric tears. I knocked the review down to three stars due to the fact that they didn't live up to the 1-year guarantee and they start to smell awful after a while...the kind of awful where it will make your hands smell bad if you don't wash them frequently. I kept having to wash them with dish soap in hope that the smell went away; toward month 9 I started to spray them with Lysol as well. I noticed the best way to keep them from smelling was to put them in the garage to dry after each use. HOWEVER, they were still extremely efficient and cushion really well; they lasted much longer than other gloves I have used. I just bought these again and I'm hoping that I can make them reach up to a year. LITTLE OVER A YEAR LATER: Company read my review and sent me a replacement pair since they didn’t last a year! Super nice and kind of them! Def going to keep buying this product.

Well-made and as others suggested, go with a size smaller if anything. The wrist straps work well. I switched to these after a pair of Valeo Ocelot gloves with wrist straps, and these ones are comparable if not better because of more cushioning. One problem I did notice today was that the edges at the fingers felt like they were cutting into you, but this was easily fixed by altering grip slightly. Still good gloves. EDIT 02MAR2015: Changing review from 4 stars to 3 stars because of the quality of the stitching. The stretchy material that is stitched to the leather has come apart and now hangs off freely, and so the individual finger holes are slowly becoming simply one big hole. I wish this had been stitched better so that the gloves weren't falling apart. Still may consider re-ordering because it was a good product before falling apart; however, I have used other gloves that lasted much longer, and so I will have to consider. EDIT 14MAR2015: Adding back the star which was removed on 02MAR2015. I am changing my review again because of the exceptional customer service provided by Henrik and Nordic Lifting. Immediately after noticing that my gloves had the stitching issues mentioned above, Henrik contacted me to discuss the issue and fix it. He even forwarded pictures that I took of the broken stitching to their Design Team so that they could address this issue in future iterations of these gloves. Furthermore, Henrik offered to replace the gloves, free of charge, because he and Nordic Lifting stand behind their product. The replacement arrived promptly at my doorstep without issues. Overally, I would highly recommend this product and this company to anybody considering them. You will be very happy with these gloves (they are better than some Valeos I have used in the past as well as much better than Harbingers), and if any issues do arise as is natural since not everything is perfect, Henrik and Nordic Lifting will do everything they reasonably can to address the issues and make you, the customer, happy.

This is the first set of weight lifting gloves that I've purchased and can say the work the way they are supposed to! As I was a newbie to the gym, I was going without gloves and started to develop blisters underneath both my middle fingers (which is where my grip is centered I guess). As soon as I started going to the gym with these weight lifting gloves, that problem disappeared within a couple of weeks. Now, that might be the case with any gloves but I can only vouch for this one. They are comfortable and provide my wrists with ample support when I'm doing any activity that requires a grip. I've been using them about 2-4 times a week for the last couple months and they haven't shown any signs of breaking down. I was also reading up on some other gloves prior to purchasing these and noticed people were having problems with the dye coming off the gloves. I haven't experienced it myself with these gloves but will update people if I do. On a side note, I received multiple e-mails prior to even receiving these gloves to ensure me that they were on their way and that if there was anything they could do, to contact them. I didn't have a need to contact them but can tell if I ever did need anything with their products, they'd very likely back it. Can't say that about some of the other third party sellers on Amazon!

First off, when I opened the pack of medium gloves, it was pretty cool and I thought that the leather was a great choice for my first pair of gloves. However, when I first put it on it ran a little big,. I reacted by buying a small pair after my medium, but they ended up being a little too small. The bad ... I used the gloves for a couple of days of heavy and light lifting, including dead lifts, curls, etc. because of my weak wrists, so I tightened them pretty tight. (If you want it tight you have to really stretch the straps and wrap it around your wrists quite numerous times before it is nice and snug, if you have relatively thin wrists.) But on the third day I noticed that the Velcro patch started to come off. The threads started detach from the strap. Maybe I tightened it too tight to support my wrists, haha. I didn't want to use them for super heavy lifts after that. I'll attach a photo later. Regards to the leather, it's not super heavy duty leather. The bar can definitely tear the top layer off. These gloves are okay. I wanted a good grip, so the thin leather is good, unlike the harbinger gloves, so I can really grab the bar. But the leather is tearing apart. The straps need to improvement. The Velcro attachment definitely needs to be looked at, double stitched maybe.

These lifting gloves are one of the best you can buy for a good price. I have been using them for a while now and they perform their function very nicely. I utilize them at the gym while weight lifting and they have served me well. The gloves are very durable and provide a good grip. Sweat is not a problem on these gloves as the mesh provides good airflow although my hands do still get a little clammy. Wrist support is amazing on them and you can choose to use them or not. The only problem I recently ran into was some minor tearing on the glove. I was a little disappointed but I contacted customer support to ask them what could be done. They have provided excellent assistant in the matter and responded very fast. Nordic seems to have the best customer service I have ever seen. They were able to email me about replacement gloves near midnight on new years eve. I will be receiving them in a week and I get to keep the old ones as well/ I say 10/10 will buy again!

Bloody uncomfortable. Pinches skin. Left and right inconsistent feeling. Sizing is wrong. Leather too hard so it’s inflexible. Move on - this is not for you.

I have a high school son who has gotten into fitness big time. He works out every day with his weights, runs, bikes and does numerous other things. One thing he wanted were some gloves for doing his weight lifting. He did some fairly intensive research and located these. After reading the reviews, taking note of some comments that recommended going up to the next size, I ordered him a pair. They were delivered promptly the second day as expected. We were very pleased with the gloves. The workmanship is excellent, they look good and the fit is perfect. His normal size was borderline for the L / XL so we went with the XL and the fit was right on. Now his hands do not sweat and he has the extra grip needed when doing some serious weight amounts. Also greatly appreciated was the follow up email from the seller/manufacturer with recommendations on the washing and care of the gloves for the longest lifespan. This was unexpected and appreciated. These are incredible gloves and do exactly what they claim. I have no doubt we will reorder down the road when necessary or if the occasion arises that a set would be appropriate as a gift.
