Niermann Standby Ceiling Lamp, Capt'n Sharky

This lamp looks nice, but it doesn't give enough light at all. The seller should have specified that it requires just one 15W energy saving light bulb; if I had known that, I would have never bought it.

Are you kidding the light's cute I pd 108.00 and 6 months later's it's under 30. That's not cool and I can't find light bulbs for it....

Ours shipped international and came in perfect conditions. We didn't have trouble finding the light bulbs like some users stated. Easy to install (hubby duty :) ) and looks really pretty in our daughter's nursery.

Awful fixture... The dome constantly fell off, very unsafe considering it was in my sons playroom.. I threw it out and got something else, DO NOT BUY!! And, to boot it gives off very poor light

It looks absolutely amazing! The little bees are so cute and the colors are nice and bright. My girls are still too young to give their feedback (9months), but I am sure they will love it also :) And as for the previous comment about paying extra for installing it and the electrician found it to be fiddly- I do not understand it. My husband installed it himself and found it extremely easy to install and the hole construction to be ok.

Although the ceiling is 3m high, the lamp looks very good, shiny and fun. I actually have installed a bigger bulb (in watts I mean) in order to have enough light (due to big height).It really attracts the eye!

This is designed for a continential home and given it was going into a nursery I took the decison to have it fitted by an electrican. Even he found it fiddly and therefore it cost an additional £60 to the purchase price.

Nachdem mich der Preis anfangs ein wenig abgeschreckt hat, habe ich diese Lampe schließlich doch bestellt, weil sie einfach perfekt in unser Kinderzimmer passt. Bei meinem Sohn (2 1/2 Monate) kommt sie schonmal super an - er hat sie immer genau im Blickfeld, wenn man mit ihm durchs Zimmer läuft.Die Montage war relativ simpel, die Anleitung an sich einfach zu entziffern.Wir hatten einmal das Problem, dass wir ins Zimmer kamen und die Kuppel samt Bienchen auf dem Boden lag. Allerdings gehe ich davon aus (und hoffe), dass mein Partner diese nur nicht richtig 'angedreht' hatte. Nach erneuter Montage und 'Wackeltest' sollte es nun eigentlich halten. Wir haben die Lampe bereits seit August in dem Zimmer hängen und bisher gab es außer diesem einen Zwischenfall keine weiteren Probleme.Trotz der Zufriedenheit mit dem Produkt, vergebe ich nur 4 Sterne, da ich den Preis einfach zu hoch finde. Es sind keine übermäßig hochwertigen Materialien verarbeitet, weshalb es 20€ weniger bestimmt auch getan hätten.An sich würde ich die Lampe trotzdem weiterempfehlen. Ob einem der Preis für ein bisschen 'Holz und Plastik' angemessen erscheint oder nicht, muss ja jeder selbst entscheiden.
