If you are dealing or working with different size silicone/plastic tubing this is a nice set to have because inevitably will have to splice pieces together.Nice assortment and so far, I can't really find any faults with these. They are plastic barbs and do exactly what one would expect.

Great for tinkering. I was installing a fuel transfer tank in my RV of my own design and used this kit to tinker with different punts and size hoses to see what setup worked best. This kit allowed me to experiment easily before spending a lot of money on a bunch of different hose sizes and it has been extremely helpful. Easy 5 stars.

The quality of these couplers is pretty bad. Most of them will probably still work OK, but inspection is required as several are obviously not formed correctly, like not enough material was injected during molding. Others have flashing attached and parting line ridges compromising the barbs. The rest are alright and will definitely get used.

I am on oxygen and I never have any connectors. I need something connected all the time. Weather its my portable concentrator or my home concentrator or my nebulizer, it's always something, so I find myself robing the connectors from this and that just to keep breathing~! I think my biggest challenge will be keeping my husband out of them with his air hoses, hydraulic lines, gas lines, the fish tank etc etc .....for me, IMO, its the best 10 dollar investment there is~!

Sometimes a hose is fixed to the device/bag and you need to shorten or lengthen. Did not come with this flexibility. This little barb adapter kit with some of your own tubing to the rescue. It has many different sizes, though I would have like same size barbs in the kit as well.

These are pretty thin for use on a gas line or anything else that is high pressure. I would use these for vacuum type hoses or anything else that is light duty. Using a strong clamp on the 1/2 crushed it pretty easily.
